Called the premium line and spoke to Frank - didn't even know what the limit was supposed to be.

I haven't received anything back from them as yet.
Strangely after this post got email from Nick Davies stating
"I can confirm that your Redten agreement remains intact and I can also assure you that Redten are capable of providing the services you have contracted for.
You have chosen to move suppliers and this is your right however your financial obligations to us remain in place.
Your offer of £20 is declined.
I understand we have previously made you an offer to settle this account without I assume you have declined.
As a further sign of good faith on my part I would be happy to accept a payment of £140 as full and final settlement of your account – if you wish to take up this offer please provide a cheque for this amount for my attention before 6/6/08 when the offer will lapse.
If this is unacceptable then I can confirm I feel the matter has become deadlocked."
I explained that I did not want to move supplier but had no choice as I didn't get transferred to NJP, hardly my fault, quoted the usual breach of contract stuff and asked them to send me a deadlock letter
Nick Davies confirmed this almost immediately, he couldn't have had time to read my email in full!
So I will follow this up with court action:cool: :j0 -

What is the point of speaking to someone whose sole intent is to fob you off whilst they fix their own agenda, rather than addressing the customers concerns and complaints?
All I want is a mac code, and everything to do with Redten put behind me, Clode are only doing what they think they need to, rather than what is right, my hope is, that like the government, they have mis-read the situation, and it causes the same backlash that the government is facing. It will serve them right, they have forgotten the golden rules of business:
Rule 1 THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT
Rule 2 WHEN PROVEN OTHERWISE, RULE 1 APPLIES!!!
Likewise: It takes years to build up a good reputation, and minutes to destroy it.
I am sure like me, you fellow devotees of Clode and Redten will all recommend them to your friends and families, and go out of your way to put business their way. :rotfl:

Not a lot to say that hasn't already been said, it is now a waiting game, I am sure we are still all here though, and my daily request for a Mac will resume today, the start of the new working week.
