I Just spoke to clode (again) who say they are having problems getting our MAC codes from Redten, the guy did say we will stay connected up to the point the code is provided - 13 working days and counting.
Anyone waiting for a MAC code should keep the pressure on.

@essex - what does the acknowledgement actually say then? Just that they have received the papers? The acknowledged mine on Wednesday so expect to get a copy soon.

@nickem - i am SO glad i didnt pay the !!!!!!s off now as I would have been in no better position. Are Ofcom actually bothered about people flaunting their own regulations?

Acknowledgement just means they accept the courts authority in this action, they then have 3 tick boxes to choose from.
    They have ticked the Option
"I intend to defend all of this claim"

    The other options were
I intend to defend part of this claim
    or
    I intend to contest jurisdiction.

heh, they intend to defend it do they? I would be interested in seeing their defence.

"Its not our fault, contact Redten" would probably sum it up.

The acknowledgement doesn't mean much at all. Most of the time it's used to buy time to consider whether or not to mount a defence.
