In which case I heartily recommend AnW's patented dot-to-dot method

PLUS your home didi NOT get into a state in 1 day - and probably not even in 1 week or 1 month SO why would you think it would be cleared in a week?
-It won't
BUT
each little achievement, little cleared area/drawer/cupboard/outwardly tidy room is a step in the right direction...
adopt a few mantras (may I recommend mine - don't put it down...) and YOU WILL get there
the people who live in your house will start to see the benefit of also keeping tidy and, before you know it half-an-hour a day with the occasional blitz will be enough to keep on top of the mess, carp and muck.
Add a few (heartless and cruel) rules and they will HAVE to join in.
Here, for instance, I live with teenagers...
(my own fault - I wanted cute babes but 'forgot' they grow)
teenagers who don't have clean clothes IF their dirty clothes don't get put into the wash in time - school uniform and all!
they soon get the idea;)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -

Sod all flying done today... DW was set off but I haven't emptied it, or done the laundry or anything as OH upset me last night. No running. Eating cr*p. But I've been self-indulgent today and hope to get my act together tomorrow. I NEED to do my tax return and sort out some paperwork. The house isn't actually too bad and needs a bit of tidying more than anything else.0 -
I've decided I ought to decutter mself to bed after an hour and a half snoozing in the armchair.. it is so comfy!
DW done
WM been on so we have nappies.. I'll get them in the dryer before I go to bed.
Recycling and composting all out
Vacuuming of front room done
remaining christmas decs all down.. I am thinking of shaped scissors so the children can make next years gift tags.. might keep them occupied for a weekend..
bins all emptied.. wheelies out tonight
Reclaimed table in the back room
washing not folded but I will attempt to get some done tomorrow..
I have a bill to pay only £50 but needs must!
Mediation in the morning which I am so looking forward to.. baby coming too so she better behave herself.. I am leaving at 11:30, I am not discussing contact further, he isn't interested; I know it, he knows it and the older children know it.. The house is mine, if he wanted to live in it he shouldn't have made it impossible for DS1 to be here and he should have kept it in his pants! I'm paying for it not him, so it is mine.. I have been tolerant, patient and sympathetic (totally and absolutely out of character for me!!!) and I am fed up of it, you get nothing being nice and I don't even like being nice.. I am an OGRE.. RRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(until we get there and I agree to anthing just for a peaceful life.. lol BUT I really really want to say if he tries forcing us to move, we will move, nearer OH's family see how he likes that)
