Good evening :beer: It's the weekend :beer: I'm off to a meeting in the pub after tea :beer:and then join stationery sniffers anonymous. Thread is here
:rotfl::rotfl: I am PenPen and I'm a stationery sniffer
Going to tidy the kitchen, make salad, fetch out the remains of my raised pie, and talk to my sourdough starter (see another thread for more details).
DH is in Munich tonight, so if I can wrench the laptop from DD, I'll be back for a proper catch up later :A:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Have decluttered another Wednesday - two more to go until I have a free day (yes, I know I posted that last week as well, but I'm really looking forward to it!)
DD has washed up and tidied her room, and also the livingroom.
Also really want to send love and hugs to helenjelly, her Dad - well all the family really- and kazwookie and her OH.
Love and hugs as always, to all my flylady friends, and especially toots, lady-liberty and lamewolf.

Popping in to say hello :wave:
Hope you're all keeping well. Mad busy here and also having massive spring clean (again!). House is looking pretty good though a bit more cleaning is in order. Hope to get back doing flylady properly once I've cleared the attic and chucked loads of stuff!
Look after yourselves

Nothing yet - researchI'm going to plant a sweet almond tree and was comparing varieties/rootstocks/sizes/prices/availability. Emailed a few local nurseries as I wanted to see the tree before buying and a couple have one so I shall go and view them tomorrow or Friday:j
Also added to my crocus wishlist (which is great for planning plants for the coming year even if you buy them elsewhereGoing to ask FiL to order me a Japanese Wineberry for my Birthday

Evening everyone
Thank you for all your thoughts - very much appreciated
Dad is the same as he was yesterday, he has been put onto a Kidney Dialysis machine today - marvellous bit of kit!! Hopefully that will trigger things moving in the right direction but his breathing is still really bad so they will tackle that too once they can sort out all the various infections he has. He slept alot of the day but was able to communicate a bit when he was awake - he has to spell out words on his tummy and we have to decipher them [he's blind] and he can't talk much because of the mask he has to wear to get oxygen and also it k-nackers him to talk.
Flying - DH has done some washing and drying. I've decided to stay at home tomorrow - DH has the day off now but kiddies are missing me so I'm staying put for the day and then back to the hospital on Friday. DS wants to see Dad so will do that on Friday
Love and hugs to all and a huge Thank You for your support

well have spent the evening trying to calm DD2 down - worries about Friday's exam coupled with a friendship issue. The friend concerned (I use the word advisedly) has harangued DD2 all evening over a disagreement - I've seen some of the texts and they are horrible! DD2 is in bits (oh joy) - conveniently this girl now has time to constantly phone/text/message DD2 as her exams have finished!
DD1 is going down with something - I'm praying it's only a cold, but we were both concious that 2 hospital appointments in the last week might have been tempting fate, especially as we found out yesterday how many patients in the hospital have flu/swine flu!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0
