We also have his pal "A" coming over this evening; he should have
his Decree Nisi by now, so I dare say we shall hear how the divorce is progressing - I'm hoping it'll all be reasonably plain sailing for him.

He's been picking my brains for food to make for the boys when they visit him; they go to him after school 2 or 3 times a week, and I think every other weekend. Only thing is, I'm a Veggie, and have never cooked for kids.

*perks up at thought of (soon-to-be) single man and realises has experience of feeding boys as has one*;)
Spaghetti bolognaise/chilli/garlic bread - stuff thats fairly easy to cook and eat and wont require ages spent in kitchen as he will want quality time with his sons;)

PPA this morning - all morning :D:D:D:D:D and *cof* my bedroom is now clean. Clearly NOT coincidental!
Also managed to put stuff away and am quite pleased with myself:T

    Hello all!

Helen - hugs, thoughts and prayers for you all xx

kazw - how awful for you! So glad OH is on the mend. My thoughts and prayers are with you both. Hugs x

You both know we are here if you need anything x

maybe - good for you; enjoy it!

Toots - thank you; I have had a lazy day today too :D Hopefully I will be ok in the morning. I have to go back to GP in two weeks to see how it's going. Hope you are feeling better but still taking it easy :p Love, hugs and prayers xx

L-L - good to see you posting. Hope you and P had a great time over the hols. I'm glad you have something new to fight for. You know we are all fighting alongside you (can you imagine a more diverse and odd-looking army?!!:p :rotfl:) so just shout if you need anything. Love, hugs and prayers x

ShySarah - hugs; I think this month is one of the worst for the BD. It's certainly got me back with avengeance right now. Counselling can bring out the bad things but it will hopefully help to confront and sort at least some of them x

pigpen - lovely pics; she is gorgeous :D but just how many nicknames does she have? :p

Off to update my list as I did flutter a little this morning ...............

Thanks Maxonian, don't think my local library will have one but a larger one was built not so long ago down the road....will go check it out, Thanks.....xx
Would it be worth joining one of the university libraries? Just a thought, but I pay about £30 a year to our local university as an external borrower, and can get access to certain online books.
There's also project Gutenberg, but you probably already know about that. link here in case you don't. I love that site. So many books!!!!
Saving up £25000/£3500 by Jan 1st 2012 by selling my clutter. Remember I'm doing it for Dad.
Textiles, languages, travel and a lovely home are not stupid things to want. You have immediate family's support.Appreciate what I've achieved so far. Other people's opinion of me is none of my business.

  • Many thanks for all of your kind words of encouragment.
Kids decluttered to bed having promised that they are to be good for their dad. List written for DH and school bags, uniforms etc sorted for the next two days. News broken to DH that he has 2 extra children here tommorow afternoon! Thank cards finally finished and ready to go to post office tommorow.

I know need to go get my stuff together, find a bag, pack have a bath & sort out my hair and nails. And have an early night ready to leave house at 6am tommorow.

I'm glad I didn't get much notice about this course as it has given me less chance to worry and panic. I have my rescue remedy to hand!

You must tell us about this. Aparantly there is a psoriasis treatment which is similar......however you have to go abroad to have it done! Sounds interesting!

I'm sure it's the same thing. There quite a few centres in the country. I don't think I can give the link to their website in open forum though :(
Thanks a lot for the book link!!

Helen Jelly I hope everything is ok, many hugs are coming your way x
LadyL I will keep picturing you at your son's graduation if that helps x
Kazw I hope he mends soon and that you manage to get things sorted re insurance without too many hassles x

Not been in long and can't face flying. I don't think anything will get done this week, but it is one week where I have many deadlines at work so they are taking priority. It will be quieter next week so hopefully I can catch up then.
