I do wonder if some of this is due to my counselling. Things discussed bring back nightmares etc. I am back with my counsellor tomorrow and hopefully that will help a bit.

    Evening ladies,
Not long home from work. Will start cooking in a mo then a bit of my list. Will post update later

Confession time.....I do not know how to clean the filter on my WM, TD, Dyson or cooker hood. I also don't know how to sharpen a knife.
I have added all of these things to my list to investigate.

I have g:D:Dgled my WM and this is what is says.....

Very quiet on wash, but not so quiet on spin. Nice looking - but looks aren’t everything - and no pump filter, which is unforgivable.

Saves me a job (when it comes around), but how rubbish is that!

Have only speed read the thread....Kazwookie, I hope things improve for you one day at a time.

    LL - That's the attitude!

    Wilf55 - great news! :D

Hugs to anyone else.....and I will send my cats to chase away any BDs. They like chasing dogs - well that's if they're not pretending that they can't see them!

    Back later

I've successfully dot-to-dotted in my bedroom and the kitchen. It looks much better.

DD1 has tonsilitus and antibiotics to take so a couple more days off for her. LO has slept most of the morning on the ktchen sofa but is now brightening up. My NN who took DS3 to school has taken him home for play and tea:).

Lady L - lovely to see you here sweetie. I'd start shopping for a great big hat for DS's graduation because you are going to be the proudest mum there. You've got the BD kicked out in the cold so keep the door shut and stay your wonderful positive self. xxx

    Pigpen - gorgeous baby girl!

OK, I have a theory. We tell the kids at Christmas time that the robins in the garden sit on the window sill and look in and report back to Santa whether they have been good/bad and they get their presents accordingly. Well I think when it's not Christmas these robins look in and fly to Pigpen who then does our daily lists according to what they've seen. I'm convinced of it. And I always thought they were so cute .... not any more!

Hmmmmmmm. Well Pigpen's robins also seem to have noticed the state of my kitchen windowsill.

I am in a state of enthusiasm re the house at the moment - which I am trying to temper to make sure my tax return is finished as a priority. Rather unhappy to spot that last year I had finished by 5th January. :(

Not happy when I took some things into the loft tonight (from a Hotspot!) - please note our loft is boarded out as a room (but I bet Pigpen's robins will still find it) to find that the box I put up there with Mr B's name on before Christmas - all his junk mail, magazine inserts and the like, has now been distributed between box and table. Me-thinks that post tax return I will feel empowered to resort into the recycling/bin anything which is not in "his" box. :p

Hi ShySarah - you actually sound as if you have achieved quite a lot today - be pleased with what you have achieved. It sounds as if you have some wonderfully strong people around you who love you dearly.

Half way through making Mars Bar Cake and thinking I will do the topping then my dinner.

Oh, and need to think up some wacky predictions for 2011 for my group tonight .................. have a sparkling house perhaps ...... :rotfl:
