Hello
Sorry folks .. I don't think I have made an appearance since New Years Eve
I've crawled back out from under the BD ... as the regulars will know it was my DS 21st Birthday ... that had been my incentive to fight for so long .. to see him reach that milestone ... once the day was over I kinda went into meltdown & started to think there wasn't anything left to fight forall my strength has gone ... but I had some wise words from toots :A :A & I've realised I've got to stop feeling sorry for myself it's not achieving anything ... so my next goal is his graduation this summer .. so that gives me another 6 months of fighting at least
So I'm back ... gonna kick this cancer's a$$ & put my happy face on again
I've had a quick skim ... big hugs to Helen J & Kazw posi vibes for both of you & respective Dad & OH xx
Love & hugs to everyone else ... I'll try & catch up ... thanks as usual to my "support" group who keep me going & check in on me on FB & by text ...you know who you are xx
Special love & hugs as usual to toots xx“Cancer has my body but not my spirit, and I’ll continue to make jokes, not so much about cancer, but in spite of it” Irwin Barker0 -
Wonderful to see you posting LadyL....your son is SO worth fighting for...he is a lovely young man.xxx...Huge hugs to you xxx
I have made the dreaded phone call...just waiting for them to phone me back now as my Ds is 16 so they are not sure if he can still be seen at Childrens or not....the adult hospital is even more difficult to get to:(..nothings ever easy.
Was about to make Chilli and rice for tea..went to fridge for onions and saw a load of veg at the bottom which really needed using up...so mince in freezer and corned beef stew simmering away on the hob
DD2 cleaning fish;);)Feeding 6 Adults 1 Teen a 8 year old with hollow legs and a very fussy 5 year old. Also 3 cats and 3 fishies

Reading today has made me realise that you're a little community here. I thought it was just a thread to post your daily chores on but it's much more than that
Sorry for bounding on in here with my excitable posts about getting chores done. I hope to stick around though, in it for the long haul
