.....and I will send my cats to chase away any BDs. They like chasing dogs - well that's if they're not pretending that they can't see them!

    Back later

Maybe that's the trick... pretend you can't see them?

After very many years of therapy I have gone the chemical route. I now take my little pill every day and although the highs aren't very high... the lows are very shallow indeed and easily climbed out of (if I go into them at all)
It took a couple of diifferent kinds before I found the ones that suit me....
For years I thought working through my problems and hangups was the only way, but now I think it kept me in the BD's company a little longer...........

    Anyhoo..
Know that you are appreciated, we miss you when you don't appear on here and you will beat the dog back to where it should be (far far away).

Lady L you are on my prayer list
HelenJ.. thinking of you and sending healing vibes (and prayers)

Flying.... not today.... in fact tomorrow neither :o
(going to have my feet eaten by fish )

I will start tomorrow's tea for the boys.... and most on the list was done over the weekend and Monday night.

    (Firealarm telling-off duly taken :o:o:o)

Much love to all !!! :A

Mrs B, I'm not too sure to be honest, I want to read books online but not necesserily download them(but I can if I have to). It's just I am useless at returning books to the actual library and I only want snippets out of them for college.
If you look at some books on Amazon, you can look inside the books.....got a few bits I needed from there earlier!!!! (Not sure I should be doing it but hey ho!!!)

Not sure if any of that makes sense as I am slowly frying my own brain!!!!

I completely understand what you are saying. We need to replace huge original crital single glazed bays in 2 rooms and original french doors.

I think you have to have double glazing now. I've had a couple of quotes but will be more before going ahead. It is going to cost a small fortune :(

I understand too.. Our windows also need replacing (Victorian sash..) the quotes for the bay windows are 5K each  and the others are 2K. We have a lot of windows so   needless to say it won't be done anytime soon :(

sidles in through side door..... Hi all, I'm in, and thanks to all for keeping the thread going and doing the lists.

Didn't post yesterday/earlier as I was a bit down in the dumps and concentrating on work stuff and household spreadsheets.
    *Rant Alert*
Also contacted CSA to see if there's been any progress re any type of child maintenance at all, and, no surprise, FW is being as elusive as ever. He actually now owes the children over £50 000 in back maintenance. They sent the baliffs round, but, of course, he's well aware of his rights, and simply didn't let them in, so no joy there. Just seems that I make all the right moves, do everything the right way, and he has it all on his side all the time.
Actually, I can't believe how many people owe us money. Still got a ryanair claim in from the ash cloud. They are being complete FW's about the whole thing, implying we are "at it" and it's incredibly frustrating. I just get tired of being honest and straight up all the time, then getting carped on like this. Anyway, probably AF's due for a visit and it's that cold, raw time of year so I'm achey and tetchy. Hope no one minds me whining.
Did actually get the big curtains finished today. I can't remember whether it was Penpen or Pigpen who gave me the low down on how to tackle them, but thank you so much. They look great, and I'm hemming them tomorrow once I've sorted the lengths. I'll take a pic once they're all finished.
DD2 sent home from school ill, but happy because her DS game arrived..... When I was wee, and ill, we had to lie in a darkened room, every single time! How times change!
Also on the plus side got my FA in gear and booked into an Italian class in Perth. Been meaning to do it for months and bit the bullet. And got it "for nothing" because I am eligible for the ILA of £200. Very good news. (now a bit nervous though-will my memory stand up to it!)
Re Glazing We're not in a conservation area, but we had quotes done for DG for our flat...... £15000!!! I would be really sad to see the water-glass go, so we've decided to have the wooden frames replaced/tightened up as necessary, but can't just now, because (for horrible reasons) it's still MIL's flat rather than ours. It's all a work in progress though and we will get there.
Going to catch up on flying week so far tomorrow.

Helenjelly, Kazwookie, Lamewolf, LadyLiberty, thinking of you all and sending you warm vibes.
Shysarah Hope you are remembering that it's an illness, and even though you seem to have a lot of support around you, it's still an illness. You wouldn't be questioning your feelings if you had flu, even though you had all the support in the world, so don't be too hard on yourself hon x

Tooch - my local library has a site online. It has a reference section and there are a lot of reference books that you can read online. I just go to my local council website, then to the libraries section. I can log on using the number on my library card.

Well in that case I've no idea if this helps or not. I've collated them by trawling through a thread on another site I belong to - but have to admit I've never used them.
