    Evening everyone

Thank you for all the kind messages - haven't caught up with any of the thread just skimmed a bit

Dad is now in the Department of Critical Care [ICU] he is wired up to this, that and everything!! His body is starting to shut down so they are trying all they can to get it started again but we have at some point got to face the difficult talk about Life Support which Dad has always said he NEVER wanted to go on - may have to do that sooner rather than later with the Docs.
Spent all day at the hospital and will be there again tomorrow but childcare is an issue on Thursday so that will be a problem - DH has taken time off so far but neither of us want him to take too much time off incase its needed later iyswim!

Will keep you updated THANK YOU

    Love asnd hugs to all
    Helen x

PS Flying - House is a tip except LR which DH has managed to keep clear - don't even think of taking a peek at my Kitchen!! Thursday will see me doing the Kitchen and the Hall and possibly the Bathroom
Projects made for craft fair - 40 :)
    1st fair on 13/4/14 :j

Managed to completely de-clutter office work today and am heartilly grateful for the lists in helping me do it! Office now looks like a dream!!
sockdrawer hugs re the CSA - hope you can get something sorted - can you take him to court? has he got that sort of money? as for the rest of the people owing you money - get tough!!!!

Gah, yes he does. He earns heaps and it's all my fault; unfortunately I was idiot enough to put my law degree on hold because a. I was pregnant with DS2 and very ill, and B. he saw me going to uni and decided he wanted some of that for himself, which I was totally pleased about at the time, because prior to that he thought it was pretentious nonsense that I should be grateful for getting to do. I worked to support him through his civil engineering degree, so he's now a chartered civil engineer, and then he decided that he wanted to "find himself" and didn't feel that he was made to be a family man after all.... we'd had 4 children and been together for 17 years by then! (and I never went back to the law degree) Been to tribunals and courts over the past nine years. They always rule in my favour and are shocked by his behaviour. CSA to be fair, seem to be doing everything they can bar arresting him, but he seems to find a way out of it every time by either going on benefits so they have to reassess or becoming self employed (with his own business, and paying himself minimum wage and collecting the rather huge balance as a dividend). I am focused on de-cluttering it out of my flying space!!!
Thanks toots. I'm trying to stay strong, but sometimes I wibble! xx
ETA I have to add that I am in a far better place now than I ever was with him, so am very grateful for that!!!

Can you not get a charge put on his house if he owns a property to ensure that you get the money eventually? im assuming if you keep going to court and they keep ruling in your favour this could be done through a court order? my next door neighbour is doing something similar with her ex at the moment. she is in the process of obtaining a court order forcing him to sell the family home. an offer has been made for over the asking price so she wants to accept but he wants to hold out for more money so court it is for her.

this senario is why ive already stressed to oh that if he dares to mess me about when we are married that i will make him regret it and he knows i will hit him financially as thats where it would hurt him the most.
