AJMoney – Sounds like the wedding plans are off to a good start? My middle sister is getting married this year too.
aj thats great news - I am glad it is all coming together for you:D

I am determined to prove that you don't need 2 years to plan a wedding, it just panics other brides into doing the same. I am now going to be a July bride and will be doing everything in 6 months, if I don't it will be too late as we will already be married :D

So an update, BTW if you are bored of me already the switch off at this point! The wedding venue is provisionally booked. Waiting for a call back as we are questioning the room prices but we will be going with them anyway. I have also been chatting to the Naval chaplains today and have someone to marry us, he is booked and we will be meeting with him in a couple of weeks. We have a rough theme/colour which will be stemming from my bouquet (no pun intended :rotfl:) and a vague idea of colour for the bridesmaids. We weren't having any but that has changed already! The only things we have no idea on for price etc apart from our clothes is the florist and photographer. A friend who is marrying soon suggested getting in touch with the uni graduates so will be doing that tomorrow. Have a florist I am hoping to pop in and see tomorrow too for some ideas.

I fI spent this much time and energy flying in my home I would live in a haven :rotfl:

Good start to the week. Dinner is in the oven, DD is sleeping, dogs, horses, chickens all fed/checked/walked etc. Think i'll put my feet up and read my book for half an hour until DH gets back or DD wakes.

  • DONE :) Wooohoooo thats great even if it's day 1 :)

ajmoney: you dont need years to work out a wedding - I think by the time I realised that the wedding in my head wasnt gonna work out because I got ripped off by a family member - we decided to do it our way and planned it and booked it in less than a couple of months. :j
Country pub wedding with family and close friends
it was a great day and in the end casual and exactly what we wanted - so keep at it :) You'll have an amazing day :T
And short notice means you have a great excuse not to invite Great Aunt Audry who farts at the dinner table ;)
