Few things crossed off the list. Stopped now to feed the minis (baby was so tired he fell asleep in his bumbo mid-mouthful), then a cuppa for me and crack on again.
    So, there are these boys,

Unexpectedly home from work as DS was ill and they couldn't get hold of my mum. However he is now complaining he is bored and his stomach ache and headache have gone as I won't let him play on his DS.

Going to put the tea in the oven and get the WM on now.

going well so far :p I even dewebbed the hall - which is a job I can put off as the lighting in there isn't so great.. ;)
Been to feed my chickens some extra protein, in the form of mealworms - the girls go mad with excitement when they see the tin!! Just going to walk the dog, and then it'll be school run etc. Dad is coming over from Portugal tomorrow, so I've got to meal plan for the rest of the week, and make up his bed tonight.

Better get on with it then! Hope everyone is feeling ok, esp toots, Diva, LL & LW.

    hi

Don't forget, we've been doing this a while - it does get easier!! Plus we have learnt that decluttering the gibble as you go is definitely the way forward, and helps enor-mouse-ly :D:D:D (couldn't resist!!)

3 things really: having a list so everything gets done eventually, knowing where your cleaning kit is (and having it stocked up with effective products) and not having to clear surfaces beforehand because you've cleared hotspots.

Take the surface where your toaster lives, for example. If moving the toaster results in covering the worksurface with crumbs so you have more to clean up off the counter and the floor, then inevitably, the whole process takes longer. If you've thoroughly cleaned the toaster in the last month, which you will have with the lists, then it won't leave a trail. Job shorter. Result:D

Oh, and sometimes things take longer to clean in the first few weeks:o
