I thought that when you grew up, got married, had children and your own house and all that jazz, you actually 'grew up' and acted like an adult, cleaned things, knew where things were... Seems not. Our house is a disaster, and I am the worst housewife :/ That room that never gets tidy, I have a house of those.

Help me, please? It's either get motivated to clean and sort.... or 'accidentally burn the house down and buy a new one...

Hello all, well lets see how today goes. I'm flying until 3.00pm, I'm going for an interview at 4.45pm - odd time but there you go.

Monday ~ Living Room, Porch and Hallway
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Declutter floors and sweep/mop/vacuum
[/STRIKE] - Swept defluffed bathroom and loo floor as well. It comes off the towels, I think.

[STRIKE]Wash[/STRIKE] windows - Did 1/3 of living room, its cold!!! out there

    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Clean doors and door furniture[/STRIKE]

    [STRIKE]Check smoke alarms..
    [/STRIKE]

[STRIKE]Sort coats and shoes and bags.. fling out the ones that no longer fit and note who needs new wellies etc!.. oh.. umbrellas.. check all those too!!
[/STRIKE] This isn't really applicable, made sure shoes are clean for interview.

These a pair which could do with a re-heal, so I'll sort those out to go to the menders.

    Level Three
    Wipe over sofas
Vacuum under furniture you can move without damaging yourself
    Extras
    1. Make appointments you have been putting off.. dr, dentist, optician etc..
    2. Wipe/dust electricals and sockets and switches!

My advice.. start flinging stuff out..

I tried the burn it down thing.. sadly gibble breeds in an empty house so you end up with 10 times more than you started with

Didn't do very well as spoke to DH. Trying to decide why Jerry is limping - I'm sure he wasn't this morning.
