    Hi all

Just popping by to say I will be in this week, although no Flying today, obviously.

Many, many thanks for the words of support; we've had a quiet, reflective day; we lit a nice scented candle, which is only just now coming to a finish; I set the table out nicely, with the candle at it's centre. Poor Mr LW has decluttered many tears, but we've also been able to smile at many of the memories he's told me about.

I know now that we did the right thing in staying here and having our own private ceremony; I believe it was Jojo who coined the phrase "competitive grieving", and I think that's what we'd have been surrounded by, had we gone along.

We're off out in a few minutes; I've said I'd buy us some dins at The Boat.

I'm afraid, although I've quickly read through the thread, very little has gone in; I guess I'm not really up to taking in any more information today.:o

Ooh, one post I did spot, on last week's thread, near the end: sad dog lady if there's any more you want to know about Dungeons & Dragons, and your DS can't help, do ask! I've been a player for 9 years, and Mr LW for over 20!:D

So, I guess I'll be playing a spot of catch-up-with-Flying for the rest of the week, probably ignore the extras.;)

Thanks again, my dear friends. See you tomorrow. xxx
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Well, I have done my ironing and a load of washing this afternoon. DD's swimming lesson was cancelled. Have some work to do for college....do a couple of bits on the last assignment and get the next one done asap so the tutor can look at it and I have time to tweek if needed. The course is not what I expected. There seems to be a lot of psychology involved and a lot of work on school policies plus we have to say why everything is done and how it could be done better, I want to be a TA not the bloomin Head Teacher!!!!

Sorry for the whinge.....will plod on......Hugs to all xx

I am determined to prove that you don't need 2 years to plan a wedding, it just panics other brides into doing the same. I am now going to be a July bride and will be doing everything in 6 months, if I don't it will be too late as we will already be married :D

So an update, BTW if you are bored of me already the switch off at this point! The wedding venue is provisionally booked. Waiting for a call back as we are questioning the room prices but we will be going with them anyway. I have also been chatting to the Naval chaplains today and have someone to marry us, he is booked and we will be meeting with him in a couple of weeks. We have a rough theme/colour which will be stemming from my bouquet (no pun intended :rotfl:) and a vague idea of colour for the bridesmaids. We weren't having any but that has changed already! The only things we have no idea on for price etc apart from our clothes is the florist and photographer. A friend who is marrying soon suggested getting in touch with the uni graduates so will be doing that tomorrow. Have a florist I am hoping to pop in and see tomorrow too for some ideas.

I fI spent this much time and energy flying in my home I would live in a haven :rotfl:

Hi ajmoney my DD is an undergrad photographer, she charges £100, if this helps get your head round it..;)

Toots that is brilliant ebay news, well done :T Of my 3 items 2 have openning bids and all have several watchers so could have been worthwhile.

Feeling very tired after my early start so a 10 minute break and then a last surge to get DW and WM on and kitchen wiped over before getting DS3 to bed. An evening of ironing and a bit of light tv is on the cards.
