  • What a shame I have to go out to work - I'd get so much done otherwise! But posting on here really helps to keep me focused on the house when I get home so here goes...

So not a great day for the list. The living room looks pretty good now except I didn't clean the windows (DH did them a couple of weeks ago). My problem is that I have no clue how often I'm supposed to be doing these things!

First job when I got home was to clean up the cat pee that had appeared in the hallway - I could smell it as soon as I came through the door. So some of the hall has been mopped - does that count?

But I have tidied and decluttered the porch, have a load of washing now drying on the airer, have tomorrow's dinner in the SC, prepared lunch for tomorrow and the kitchen is still looking good - washing up done and put away, worksurfaces still clean. So off to have a glass of wine before bed. Looking forward to seeing what tomorrow has in store...

Hi ajmoney my DD is an undergrad photographer, she charges £100, if this helps get your head round it..;)

Our cheapest quote so far is £1500 so that is quite a bit better. My friend is getting the contact details for tomorrow and I have just got a couple of other companies to email for quotes just to give a good comparison.

No flying done here, I slipped on the ice earlier, I didn't fall but jarred my back a bit so I have a blanket around me to make sure the muscles stay warm.

  • Helloooooooooooooo

Been very busy today/this evening. Hubby said he didnt need me at cadets as he didnt want me doing too much and making myself ill (I think the fact I wore myself out merely walking the dogs yesterday scared him a bit).

    So flying:

Finished a special lesson plan for 2 of my own cadets
cooked tea, washed dishes, put dishes away, sorted dogs's food and fed cat. Cat turned her nose up so is currently sitting there schrieking at me. as she threw up first thing this morning and I nearly stepped in it...............she can either eat her tea or go hungry!!!!

I also did some washing and half an hour ironing.
    sorted food for tomorrow.
sent email to order dog food
    and hoovered upstairs!

Mondays list was mostly done yesterday so if it isnt there its done. Under the stairs/hall way will have to wait until I have finished teh paperwork.

Things are going to be very busy in the near future, some of which I am worried about so if I go quiet dont worry.

Just flitting through, with hugs for those who need one, there seems to be quitre a few of you.

Work today, not too bad. Very little done at home though - a load of washing, rubbish out, and washing up. (That's the flying bit)
OH took the day off, so has ordered the new cooker - the Stoves Stainless Steel that we both liked so much in the showroom on Sunday. Online supplier, delivered Friday :D - so a few more days of ready meals. Chinese tonight, and Domino's pizza tomorrow... my lovely neighbour has offered her cooker, but I feel it would be a bit of a cheek cooking for five of us next door every day!

:hello:to all my flylady friends!! Love and hugs.

    Evening all

Hugs, froddy - hope the new colour does the trick.
ETA Serena - Could you make it a communal meal and cook together for both families?

What a mad day at work! I started with broken heating (the whole school), followed by an outdoor break duty and engineers moving the phone from my office to my classroom - great entertainment for the kids, but not a good lesson. The day finished with two medical emergencies in the last lesson, so another write-off. Will try again tomorrow. :(

    Jobs done today:
    WM x1
    DW x1, emptied and re-loaded
roast dinner cooked (pork in SC, frozen yorkshires and roasties :o)

    To do
Sort clothes for tomorrow (DS2's and mine)
take clothes off airer and put jeans on
    start WM
    tidy kitchen
    WORK, and then some

I've watched a bit of telly, checked e-mails and had a chat with DS1, who wants to pack his college course in (Music Technology). Fortunately his tutor has persuaded him to finish the year, so he will get something for his time and effort and gain thinking/research time. It never stops... :(
Going to get another cuppa and my dressing gown, because I can't get warm today. 'See' you all tomorrow. x

Oh darn I can't find my letter from the councellor, and I desperately need it so I can write to her to ask her to refer me to a new councellor. I also have to tell her that I don't get it with her and feel that we haven't covered what we were going to actually cover.. Does that make sense, if not a bit garbled..lol
