Well, I suddenly realised today that all my plans for an industrious week in the house have a few too many commitments to complete with, as, after my working day I have

    Monday - training evening
Tuesday - NWR - that's for me, my personal time, it's sacred!
Wednesday - training with the dogs
Thursday - taxi service for the in-laws (they don't ask often, but it should have been my baking night)
    Friday - home check
Weekend - PAPERWORK (OK, so it's my tax return - at least it's all in one box file)

So I've really messed my week up!

Today I have managed 2 x WM (I'm an Economy 7 overnighter), DW ready to go tonight, tidied round the house generally this evening, made my sandwiches, and thought about doing HHI but failed - oh, but did get one batch of cakes in the oven. Had to rearrange the venue for tomorrow's meeting as well -so diverted on the way home tonight to drop notes through the doors of those not on e-mail.

I think I will have to aim for dailies this week - anything else is beginning to look like a wishful but unlikely bonus.

All good wishes to all on here who are sad, unwell, or generally not having a great time.

Has anyone any ideas of heating the kitchen please, there is no room for a radiator.
You can get electric convector heaters that fit into the plinths I was considering getting one for the cold end of my kitchen until I decided to move :)

    (((((hugs))))) and prayers for Helen

We had a lovely meal. Nephew refused to sleep  so will probably be a pain tonight and grumpy tomorrow...

Just finishing off some work, as my dad is having an early night. Will set the DW off before I head off to bed. There isn't that much mess, as I did the actual cooking in advance, so only have the serving dishes and stuff from the veg to deal with. All leftovers will be frozen in small portions for use at a later date (assuming I can squeeze them in!)

lil_me- hope you're right. I think he feels responsible and that he needs to demonstrate that he's not shirking his responsibilities. I get the feeling that his parents and friends have put pressure on him saying he should take responsbility, so he's trying to demonstrate it. BUT it is making him pretty miserable by the sounds of things, and I really do think he needs to be in his OWN space. He has, however, started counselling with a guy who used to do career coaching for him so he knows and trusts him.

  • Did everything except extras today and will try to catch up with those tomorrow. Still doing my darned paperwork, but progress is definitely being made - I think if I crack on tomorrow it will be sorted, then just a case of keeping on top of it :D......you never know, it could happen ;) I am done for the day, have done absolutely loads today, but really feeling like I am getting somewhere - not just with flying, but I am sorting my finances too (hence the paper work wading) and can see the light at the end of the tunnel :)

Hope everyone is getting done what they need to get done, hugs for all who need them x
