    Afternoon...

    Many thanks to all those at FCC for the lists etc, truly grateful xxx

    Awww Piggers why did you have to put Living room as first, why couldn't it have been Kitchen cos I am almost done with that one. Oh well never mind at least I will be ahead of the lists eventually, well that's if I get myself into gear and get off the lappy.. Oh not to worry my battery runs out in an hours time..lol

    Just popping in again, veg peeled for tea, GC fed and eldest gone to half day school, littlest having afternoon sleep. Sorted major hotspot, PC junk cabinet, everything gets thrown in there so needed doing badly. 2 bags of junk now thrown, think that counts as 100 items binned. Just having a coffee then will put clean clothes away. Not even touched upstairs yet but not too bad as bottomed bedrooms last week, need to vac bedrooms again and must get bathroom and toilet bottomed doesn't look too bad as it is kept tidy but i know it needs doing. Will pop in again later. Hugs x

    Declutter floors and sweep/mop/vacuum am I alone in vacuuming last? For mesurfaces clearing is a good start, but hoovering the good end...or something that can be done ''manana''.But I do hate to hoover!

  • Back again - kept going for an hour, so the list now looks like this:

    [STRIKE]* School run
    * Sainsbury's
    * Put food away

    * Strip chicken from bones[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]* Make Moroccan chicken with remains[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]* Make chick stock[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]* Make sandwiches for the freezer (DH lunch)[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]* Make a fat log for birds and hang
    * Do all the washing up from last night [/STRIKE]
    :cool:

    * Clean the bathroom :eek::eek::eek:
    * Clean the loos

    * Hang up the washing from overnight
    [STRIKE]* Unpack the dishwasher[/STRIKE]

    * Complete savings transfer; do bank paperwork
    [STRIKE]* Check curr account[/STRIKE] :o
    * Ring dentist
    * Write back to work correspondents - need to acknowledge 5 letters

    * Cover the garlic with netting
    * Take compost to heap

    Have to empty the hoover before I can do the cleaning, so it looks like a trip to the compost heap next. It's sunny but wild out there! Will try to cover my garlic with netting at the same time: the blackbirds keep digging it up...

    Just drinking coffee, then off outside...

  • Maybemischief and MissHiggerty - Thanks for your posts. I certainly will be taking things steady. I'm much better now but this sort of thing knocks you for six. I just need a few days to get my strength back.
