I have no idea how good/bad bt are nowadays, I use ADSL24 (murphx connection) which seems quite stable, but does impose strict bandwidth limits (30Gb @ peak times) and is £20/month on a monthly rolling contract (my last ISP was O2 access...much cheaper - but I was glad when the contract ended!)

Thanks for your reply DatabaseError but £20 a month does seem a step to far for me. I can live with 1.5mb/sec but it's impossible to download anything at .5 so that is what I am trying to improve.0
