How can your download speed be a fraction of your upload speed?! I thought that ADSL connections would always have a higher download rate... :huh:
I haven't got a clue , just did another test which aint a lot different.

Well BT has finally started rolling out Fibre to some areas but they still want to charge the earth for using it?
Current price - little over £8 / month
Speed - Around 3MB
BT Fibre - Little over £25 / month
Speed - Between 20 - 25mb
ok yes faster but at a rather steep cost... personally refuse to pay it for a internet connection.
not only a step price but also attached the most fascist ISP in the UK with there traffic shaping, throttling and filtering etc
ill stick with BE, 100% performance all day every day and no d/l limit (well no complaints with 1TB a month so far)

ill chip in was at my mates and wanted to download firefox for him instead of internet explorer as its faster and less noncence,
regrettebly due to his 10kb pers second download speed i said ill do it another time lol
then was at my mums wanted to do the same for her she was gettin 18kbs pers second download almost twice as fast!!!! again i just gave up things to do an that you know, they both had one thing in common broadband from SKY,
methinks ill be stickin to virginmedia
