Another nail in the coffin for Virgin. Richard, a word please
Never put tables and chairs in the same room.
If they congregate together for any length of time, they will inevitably hatch plots against you and your pets.

The maximum I can get is 3.0mb.
The average is 1.7mb but during peak times it can drop to .5mb
My exchange is non LLU but BT have just offered me £5 per month with weekend calls included for an 18 month contract. I am currently paying AOL £12.99 pm which includes all calls.
I suppose no ISP can guarantee 3.0mb but could I do better with another ISP without paying a fortune for it? From what I have read most people would not touch BT with a bargepole!0 -
Iconic - the 3mb/sec isn't too bad (location/physics can't be avoided), but the peak time drop to .5 is dire

I have no idea how good/bad bt are nowadays, I use ADSL24 (murphx connection) which seems quite stable, but does impose strict bandwidth limits (30Gb @ peak times) and is £20/month on a monthly rolling contract (my last ISP was O2 access...much cheaper - but I was glad when the contract ended!)
I'm looking forward to [21CN WBC status: RFS date set : 31/03/2011]

If that's cable call it in as a fault. If it's ADSL it could be your line length but Virgin National is not the best ADSL service.onetreehillgrrl wrote: »
