MrT have taken the money for their shopping AND only once AND let me have the authorised amount back!
BIG GOLD STAR for them - will use again, most definitely.....

sw and copperjar - how good to see you both back. Don't worry about catching up - it's 90% waffle on my part with timely interjections from wordsmith and aesop and dojo lurking as usual!!!


Well, the baked beans certainly had an "effect" but a small price to pay for the yumminess and MrT still crept under the covers. I certainly wouldn't feed him beans, sw, he is bad enough already. For a small dog he is like a wind turbine.....

A lovely morning here and I am leaving work an hour early today :j I was owed an hour from March and I can take it today before my manager takes 10 days off. They are having a meeting today to sort out the office hierachy in her absence. I couldn't care less as long as my young male colleague pulls his weight which is not always the case.... youngsters, huh?

I had a little bet over the last few days and it has accumulated to winnings of £60.... hooray.... so I am off to Ar*os to buy a lovely rug that I have had my eyes on for weeks. It is creams,greens and browns and very Morroccan and will look lush in my study/work room. There is one left in my local branch and it has got my name written all over it......:D

Not hanging around - MrT needs to have another walk before I go to work.... speak tonight...

I too hope copperjar is ok. Ignore the meanie neighbours focus on being happy. Weather is glorious. Just arrived after a looong day at work but v happy after a glorious weekend. That will keep me going for sometime.

From the top..... Left work at 4.25 - stayed to do some filing ( sorry did someone say something about a**ekissing again!) and I don't really want to be in charge while she is away - I might get a bossy head on and I don't want that. As long as he does his fair share all will be well.
Yes I got the rug - it is thinner than it looked in the piccies but it is still very nice indeed and has a real hand woven look to it. It should do, because it is!!! It is 100% wool and lovely colours. MrT is currently throwing himself around on it playing with a soft toy... my name was written on the plastic packaging so no harm done
Been out in the garden briefly planting two pampas grass plants - one white and one pink - I do hope they take, they seem healthy enough. Fingers crossed.
I am feeling quite chilled - nearly as chilled as the bottle of vino in my fridge that I might just have a glass of tonight as I watch even more footie - Real Madrid and Barcelona - all those hunky hispanics and latinos ..... yummy!
