Bless you, you have no idea how much being here helps me. You guys are my family and keep me going. When it is horrible at work or i am upset i remember funny things that you have all posted and i replace my own miserable thoughts with happy memories from good friends on here. SA is such a tonic. She should be on the NHS, sickleave would stop overnight.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

It is beautiful outside. I am hoping you are out with Mr T admiring the ducks and planning another project. There is a wonderful world out there I am so glad i am finding the time to enjoy it now. Do have a good day my dear friend and be happy.

Such stirring words SW, as always, you know the right things to say to help others :A
SA - I have not even peeped at that diary for a couple of months now, since I said my piece and said I would not post again - they seem to wallow in self-pity instead of getting on with things like you do - I do admire you for what you have done with your life
We all offer advice in one way or another to people we see need it, but when it is not being heeded, or in fact thrown back in our faces, then it is time to stop, turn away and don't look back - and get on with our lives, enjoying the 'company' of those we call friends
And, as you say, the friendship and comaraderie of this forum is such a great help in seeing us through the bad days and sharing the good days, that it is not worth missing out on that for the sake of one person
You NEED to be here, we NEED you to be here - look forward to reading your new posts to see what you have been up to. I hope that you are making the most of the good weather and Mr T & you are getting lots of exercise, as walking is a great stress-beater

Oh, and by the way SW, I don't think I can manage the Kung-Fu Fighting as John Travolta, so I will just sit on one of the comfy chairs and sing along, OK?

People often comment on my positivity - I have grasped opportunites with both hands even if it is a minimum wage job, for which I am hugely overqualified, if it means ending a spell of unemployment. Slowly and surely I have now reached a place where I am relatively happy.
I may have a couple of days away from the board, without posting, but I will be thinking of you all.

Hiya Hun...I have that T-Shirt too:(:o:o. A couple of years ago now but still as clear as if it was yesterday...life is so short & now even if the highlight of the day is simply seeing a single ray of sunlight then that makes life worth living.
I was in a dark place too & can identify with the desperate pointlessness of life. Its been said already but `life is what you make it`...& ultimately no-one else can change it for us...that has to come from within. I feel I am unable to offer support on that thread which is a shame but it is too raw for me to add anything that hasn`t already been said.
Please don`t go anywhere Sweetheart...& I hope that you are reading this even though you aren`t logging on.
