Mid life crisis.

That's the problem with living on a low, limited income. You do have to make sacrifices if you want to buy anything. I did plenty of socialising in years gone by and now I just want to make a nice home for me and MrT.
I also went without a lot to send money out to my ex,a particularly raw feeling at the moment as I have been beating myself up thinking that perhaps he didn't care at all and was only in it for the material gain.It is a horrid feeling, thinking that you have been taken advantage of and I think my general "lowness" added to the punishment I was doling out to myself.
It is an electric cooker, not gas. My last flat was all electric and I have got used to having an electric cooker over the years and will stick to it. I especially like the look of the flat ceramic hobs, very contemporary.
I have got the ducklings to feed, of course and I want to clean the flat through ready for Back to Work tomorrow. I am looking forward to getting my hair cut next weekend. I had to postpone my normal appointment when I did the full time stint before Easter and it hasn't been cut for 10 weeks. I look like Wild Woman..... hee hee
I can thoroughly recommend a new freezer - excellent for storing ice creams.
Hugs

Oooh I love a haircut. I always feel like a new person afterwards.
Don't you waste any energy on negative thoughts about anything onwards and upwards. You never know how your life will change. SA you are doing such positive things, you really will live happily ever after.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

Well, after Tory man doing his best to sort out the "Tale of the Tree" the local Independent candidates have come and erected
a board in my garden! MrT supervised of course.
I did say some weeks ago that i wouldn't mind and they have taken me up on it. What if Tory man sees? He might cancel the "major work".....
I have been very busy - ducks fed, a bit of washing done, a bit of ironing done (:() a bit of rearranging of photos in my study/spare bedroom and finally glossing the stair banister - Get Me!!!
I prop the vacuum against the banister when I hoover the stairs and over the months it has flaked a bit here and there, so I found a brush and the right colour paint and off I went. It looks OK for an amateur if I say so myself.
Having a bit of a sit down and a coffee now and then car washing is next on the list. Just a soap and a swill because the dreaded sycamore tree will soon pour a lot of sap all over it again. Then the final dog walk and feet up for the rest of the day. I shall ache, I know it.
Went to MrS for a top up shop to get me through the week. I changed up £1.45 in one pees and two pees and then cashed in my loyalty points and only had to pay £1 in actual, real money.... Job done. I will get my cooker, I will...
Mrs Fatty is holding court outside for the 4th day in a row with the kids shouting and screaming as usual. I had to giggle when even Mr Fatty had to shout at them to "Shut Up" from his usual site in the bedroom and they didn't even hear him... :rotfl:
Enjoy the rest of the day, folks
