Thankyou, the feeling is entirely mutual...... and stop worrying so much about Nohope, he will be back soon I am sure.
Life would be so boring without little tiffs and misunderstandings. Off to have my tea now, I am sure he will be posting tonight or tomorrow morning.

Thankyou Aesop, I shall read that tonight with interest. I have started doing surveys but I keep getting told I don't meet the criteria... Trying not to get paranoid about it... lol

I love competitions and have won a few bits in the past, nothing major but it would be fun to make it a real hobby.
I have learnt so much from MSE and realise that you can actually make a real improvement in money coming in by a few simple measures, especially if you have TIME and by doing 2 part time jobs, that is one thing that I do have. Also, being single means I am not cooking for a family and only have myself )and canine housemate) to worry about. So many times I actually stop and think that I really don't think I want another man in my life. He would have to be pretty darn special.

Thursday already, thank heavens, payday tomorrow and then the weekend... hooray, but I am working on Sunday evening...boo
I am going to miss Skating on Ice again - mind you it hasn't really grabbed me this year like before. I don't like too many of the skaters and Jason Gardiner just gets on my nerves.

I see in the paper that the cops are close to a big breakthrough in the Jo Yeates murder case. I do hope so for her parents sake. It must be dreadful and being a Mum to a daughter of similar age, I can't imagine what they must be going through. My heart goes out to them.

Off to get ready for work, I so wish I could say I was looking forward to it, but I'm not. It has taught me how much effect just one difficult person can have in a workplace. I do hope things get better soon but beggars can't be choosers and a job is a job.

I can't watch the news (for the same reason) and have to for my job! But remember Desiderata (part of nohope's signature). Work will be ok just focus on enjoying yourself despite them that's what i do and now i love it again. Gotta go getting late. I do love writing on here. It passes time and you learn so much and meet great people too.

SA, when I started the part time job I am in, the Deputy Manager I have to work for, was impossible to work with! In fact several people had left the post previously because of him.

It was so bad, my FB status updates were about how much I hated working there, I tried to find another job unsuccessfully. For some reason he calmed down, his behaviour, don't know if a few of my colleagues had words, as they could see I no longer cared.

Then there was a possibility we weren't going to have jobs from march this year, I wasn't bothered, I would have to find SOMETHING!

DS is now very happily settled in a nursery near where I work,so much so, I have seen him developing in leaps and bounds. That I am reluctant to have to move him. So am living with the job, as it is only part time, pay is rubbish, but I choose my hours and there is some flexibility. Although the last 2 weeks I have had to work late which is not good for DS.

I know what you are saying above about your jobs.

I do MS (Mystery shopping and Avon) when I am not working, even though the money is not huge, and am have been doing the £10 a day challenge. It all helps.

I am rambling and forgot what I wanted to say. Yes, it is amazing how just 1 difficult person can affect the whole workplace. I know ours does. Our MD is actually looking for ways to get rid of him, but she hasn't found a legal one yet.
