  • Off to have something to eat now, it has been a long day. Hugs to you all, have a good evening and roll on tomorrow.... haircut day. I can't put that off to save money, it is a long time overdue and I am sure my new employers would appreciate someone who doesn't look like they are wearing a busby!

What or who is qork? :rotfl:

Seriously, thankyou very much. Everyone has been so sweet and supportive and I have got another week at home before I start so that is good especially if the sun continues to shine. :)

I am due to sign on and sign off JSA tomorrow. I have got a start date so I can let them know the details. I have also spent a couple of hours working out the pay for the first month so that I can let the HB people know and make sure they don't underpay me. My first months pay will only be 4/5's because I don't start until 7th - I will have to watch their calculations and then my rent goes up on April 4th so I will have to give them those details as well.

I have had my hair cut and it isn't as drastic as I thought it would be. I seem to be the only person who doesn't think that it is "fabulous" - thick and curly can be very warm at times, like wearing a permanent hat! It looks nice though and I will see how it lasts.

I have been to the library and picked up the latest Chris Evans autobiography which I have been wanting since it came out. I asked my local branch to reserve their copy for me when it came back in but they got it from another branch and charged me 60p for doing so. Still, at least it arrived in a couple of days. I will get that read before I start work. Did I mention I got me a job...... ;)

I have worked out my budget for the next few weeks and it isn't as bad as I thought now that I have been able to take the rent out of the equation. The HA have agreed that I only pay whatever my HB is for the next two months and then I make up the shortfall at £50 a month when my pay levels out. A fantastic gesture and I am so grateful to the guy who sorted it for me yesterday. Isn't it funny how it is aways the minions who give you grief in life? If you pass them over and go higher it seems that things are just so much easier to sort out. A lesson learned.

I have done a few surveys yesterday and today and I have nearly reached another £10 - that will be £30 in just over 2 weeks. Woohoo :T I have got my £10 gift voucher and still got my £20 compo cheque due - it all adds up.

That is about it for now - I knew I would be asking for trouble taking MrT for his long walk earlier than normal this afternoon. His body clock is all awry now and he has been nagging me for his dinner for the last hour. He doesn't get fed until at least 5pm - nearly there now, I can put him out of his misery before he phones the RSPCA.

    Hugs to you all

    SA

I am marking but terribly distracted at the moment. Does anyone watch the 'real housewives of orange county'? -gosh they are all multi millionaires, with boob jobs, plastic everything and some of their kids are so spoiled. Crumbs. They lunch a lot and their husbands trade them in all the time for younger women which is very sad. It is fascinating i actually like them. Survival of the rich fascinating stuff, i am glad i am (ab)normal old me!!!!
