Thanks guys -
littleboots, I am envious about the sunshine but we have a nice sunny morning here today, let's hope it lasts.
Aesop - You are THE link person - how do you know them all? I am a bit of a fiend for finding an author I like and then reading everything they have done. I think I get used to the style and enjoy reading lots of it. It stops that sad feeling that you can get when you have finished a good book.
sw - I didn't watch the Oscars, I couldn't stay awake and it is a bit too scmaltzy for me. I heard a lot of the clips yesterday. I hope Jordan stays there and doesn't come back. I am so sick of the woman now.
3dogs - I am feeling totally different - 'tis true. It has been a long time since I felt this way. There are a lot of reasons and I think the main ones are...
1) I have a lovely home and things are how I want them to be, I can plan my own life. A tad selfish, I know.
2) I am not married to a job like before, I have time to do other things.
3) I have pulled away from some VERY strong feelings for a situation that was untenable. (MEN!)
4) My dog has bought something into my life that really is like a missing puzzle piece. The difficulties that he came with and the enormous challenges that he made me tackle have made me really focus on something. The love he gives me now is just so rewarding. All dogs give unconditional love, I know, but when they have become damaged somewhere down the line it just means so much more when they learn to trust again. I am sure you will understand that 3dogs, especially as mine is a "terror", oops should have said "terrier" even though the former is just as true !!!
Enjoy your day everyone
Hugs

Glad you're feeling so positive about things. Have a lovely day - walking the dog and feeding the ducks?"Green pastures are before me,
Which yet I have not seen;"
I'd love to be a good example - instead, I am a horrible warning.0 -

Good morning Wordsmith, lovely to hear from you.
How did you guess?
I am also doing a bit of Spanish revising on t'internet. It has got very lazy I am afraid - only people that know me well can understand everything that I am saying. A sign that I need to pull my socks up.
The ducks aren't as hungry as they were a couple of weeks ago. They have got other things on their mind at the moment, it is egg laying time and the drakes are more interested in the ladeez than my bit of brown sliced.
I need to get my sister a card as she moved at the weekend, and MrT's pigs ear stock is dangerously low - he does love an errand or two in town. Especially if he finds a discarded bit of food on the pavement. Greedy creature.
I hope things are improving for you...
Hugs

Great to see you sounding so positive and upbeat SA,
I have tried to do some surveys, but they keep kicking me off after the initial questions, and say I don`t meet the criteria they are after

Hi sw- enjoy your day off and try not to worry too much about other people. Put yourself at the top of the list.
dojoman - welcome, I get most of the surveys from one particular site, the others are a bit iffy and throw me off as well. What really annoys me is that some of them wait until you have answered a huge amount of questions before they tell you that you don't qualify. Hmmmm... makes me think it is a way of getting the opinions without paying for it.
Old cynic, me.
A lovely sunny day here, long may it last.
