    Hi Hollie!

Good news, i went to a bridal shop today to have a look and found THE dress! It was so perfect and it was the exact design i wanted... i told the lady what i was looking for and she came out with one dress.... i was gobsmacked.. everything i was looking for! ahhh love it so much! and it had 25% off!

My budget was 350 and the sale price was 550.. i know it was more than what i budgeted but i was so happy with it.. so i went off for a coffee with one of my bridesmaids to calm down and talk about it, and i thought you know what ill kick myself if i didnt buy it and couldnt find anything like it!

So called my mum and said ive found the dress i want etc and sent her some pics (shes away this weekend) and she fell in love too!

So i went in and bought it and took it away! SO HAPPY EEEEK!

I then get a call from my mum to say my gran had given her a cheque for £200 towards the dress! i cried! SOOOO Happpy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY

sorry about the crazyness! So happy yayayay :) lol

LOL! Men never quite understand the significance of wedding dresses, do they? :D

Plans not going too badly thanks - just ordered my underwear, which I needed before any further work could be done on my dress, and am very excited about seeing! Came THIS CLOSE to buying some lovely Victorian-style boots but stopped myself because I wasn't sure if they would go with my outfit and as I was buying them from the US it added £20 in import fees to the price  Don't think I can really justify £120 unless I do some serious overtime and ebay selling!!

What I should be doing is researching photographers, as that is the next main thing on our list, but googling pretty shoes is so much more fun..... :o

have you looked at bhs? they have some very pretty dresses from £120 - or have u looked at ebay? i think i will get my veil, shoes & poss hair accessories from ebay to save a few ££.
a colleague of mine order her bm dress from an ebay seller in china - 3 dresses for £150, and i know they do bridal dresses, but i guess it can be a bit risky if the material etc isnt what you expected, then you will have to pay for alterations as well.
but defo look at bhs - you might be surprised.
im 4th of august btw :-)
  • HELLO! Haven't been on here for AGES... so exciting everyone's news, I haven't finished catching up yet but thought I'd post this before bed.

You lot have got me wanting a dad and daughter dance now, I decided to get him to walk with me down the aisle the other day and he was dead chuffed! At first I didn't want him to as I'm such a feminist and didn't want to be given away like someone's property, however I decided to wear heels and I want someone to stop me falling over! And this way I can joke about the feminism/heels thing in my speech so I will actually have something to say!

Love your colour scheme Tiara, weirdly I wanted blue and yellow but decided against as it's our football team's colours!

Lots of love anyway and I promise I'll be back soon with photos of my DRESS:j:j:j, new colour scheme (fickle, moi?) save the dates, erm, that's it at the moment I think! xxxxxxxxxxx
