I'll join this one please! We just confirmed our wedding for August 25th 2012 last week. We're having a late afternoon ceremony followed by bubbly and canapes with a party and buffet later on. We decided against a formal meal for both the cost and so we could have all our guests at the whole event.
Can't wait! I've picked my dress and we have a load of ideas floating about at the moment... very very exciting!!!

ive been ebaying, got my dad,groom and best man a swarkovski tie pin each,got some gold and ivory sweet bags for the sweet buffet and 50 gold organza bags and 1000 gold scatter crystals

next on the list is 3 sets of ivory cufflinks

Hi everyone, thought I'd pop along - I'm an August 2012 bride! Wow, it's crazy typing that! Hoping to confirm venue very soon. Only have a small budget but have already seen so many amazing tips and tricks on here! Also going for something informal - hog roast or buffet, I want the emphasis to be on the reception with everyone having a great time It's so nice to chat weddings with people!!

Just bought my dress! Am absolutely over the moon, having tried on around 30 frocks I know for sure that this (being the first one I tried) is THE one. I was especially delighted to find it half price in the shop sample sale today, must be fate. Now I want to wear it and prance around the house but my other half is around, will have to give it to my mother to look after for the next year. Eep!
