Yup a fitted bed sheet :rotfl:It keeps giving me the giggles everytime I think of it, I clearly need to get out more!!
I think bridemsaid dresses have the potential to be quite stressful really. They will all want something different so it is hard to get one style they will all like, plus the teenager may grow (upwards or outwards from what you've said!) which makes it difficult to buy too far in advance. I wonder if it would be practical to have a seamstress make any alterations, such as putting on straps? So they could have the same dress but then have any alterations they require made? Though I guess that may work out quite costly- just thinking outloud really.
Hollie- awesome shoes but I couldn't never wear them, they are too high for me. Nope we're not having cars. Our church is a 5 min walk away so if it's fine I'll be walking, and if it rains then my Dad or sister can give me a lift
Oh dear... sound like you have a bit of a random delivery service!! But definately best to remember things can get sorted. Do you mean a sheet as in one you put on a bed?? How strange!!:)
I am supposed to be at home writing a report for work, but have found myself doing all sorts and am now panicking about bridesmaid dresses ... not quite sure why!:)0 -
Hiya all
Newbie here, my wedding date is 10th August. So far I've got my venue booked, photographer and some hopeful bridesmaids dresses (took a risk not sure if it will pay off yet) I have also found 'the' dress but it blows the budget completely so I'm trying desperately to scrimp and save to get it. Car boot next weekend, and I'm selling everything! My poor kids will hate me lol anyway nice to meet you all and congratulations!

Four weeks to DD's big day! Can't believe it's that close! Got the last of the bridesmaids' shoes yesterday. Order of service done now. Did it myself on publisher and got a printer to run them off! Dresses are all made and are beautiful. Think I can relax now till the 19th! Hope everyone else is doing okay.
Oh, Hollie84, we are not hiring a wedding car, OH has a white Audi, huge thing. I've got a table decoration for the parcel shelf with some purple satin for it to sit on, and ivory ribbon for the front. A cousin is driving it, saved us £500!I Believe in saving money!!!:T
A Bargain is only a bargain if you need it!0 -

Morning all, well, went dress shopping yesterday at Leicester Wedding Dress Outlet. They had some beautiful dresses, mainly in 10's and 12's but there were some 14 and 16 too.
I tried 3 on, cant remember the first 2 designer names etc, but the third one was a Turdy Lee 59107 (http://www.glamourousgowns.co.uk/shopdata/show.php?dress=2867)
It was on sale at £400. But because I am still a bit overweight, it didnt quite sit right. It is a beautiful dress and it did look lovely, but I just couldnt bring myself to buy it. I dont think its 'THE ONE'.
I think I am going to wait until the wedding show at the NEC and see if I can get something there.
I didnt realise trying wedding dresses on could be so stressful!Married the absolute love of my life on Sunday May 6th and I couldnt be happier!!!0
