OS Daily Sunday 9th Jan

Evening everyone

A late one from me. It has been a bright sunny but cold day here. It was lovely walking the dog in the forest with dh & ds2. We then nipped to the pub where you can take dogs in for a couple. I drew the short straw and had coffee as I was driving.

Very little os today, apart from roast beef dinner with roast potatoes and veg. I have to say it was delicious.

Am on day 4 of not smoking, not been as crabby today, think dh was relieved as I made his life hell yesterday.

Beemuzed - ((hugs)) thinking of you, hope your ds doesn't get too bad.
Redruby - your bird table sounds fab.
Loulou - hope your ds feels better.
Donny gal - have a lovely time in Spain.

Hi chums just off to my pit.Going to Maidstone tomorrow with DD and treating her to having her nails done as she has an interview on Tuesday ,everything crossed for her:rotfl:at the moment .Had a lovely dinner of roast lamb and all the trimming at DDs.Also have to take DGS Ben to the dentists for a check up after school , then tomorrow night I'm back at Uni :j:j
Busy week this week as I'm off to Bluewater on Tuesday to the cinema and lunch with my pal from Dartford .we are hoping to see The King's Speech
Then on Thursday I am off to London to visit my eldest DDs Ma & Pa in-law for the day, and on Friday I have a history class .So not a lot of housework will get done this week.I have a feeling I have a field trip on Saturday with Uni to London as well.So its going to be a busy one for me.Its not all beer and skittles this retirement lark you know I had more spare time when I was at work:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Right I'm off for a read of my Pillars of the Earth book.
