Morning... Afternoon all
I've just surfaced, full of cold with a sexy swollen neck and an even bigger cough! Would hot lemon be enough? I don't have any honey!
I slipped out to a friends ~1am and stayed until sunrise, I couldn't sleep last night after me and OH had another "disagreement" and needed the tea and nocturnal company, it was also really nice walking home at that time of morning. Would be nice if he could be a bit more understanding and supportive, or at least not so moody about me working hard for the degree i'm paying through the nose for...
I'm in bed armed with iplayer lots of herbal tea- two big mugs, a tea spot and a flaskHopefully i'll be ready to tackle some work soon!!

Hard love is the only way some people learn.
Sorry your hear that you are having all this trouble, Familys somtimes can be more trouble than they are woth. But were would we be without them:)
I told OH not to lend him the money I know we won't get it back and dont really have 30 quid to spare. But OH just wants to get the bike back which I understand, families eh??
I went back to bed, I don't want to drink again for a long time! I'm not massively hungover just feel sleepy.

Good Afternoon All
It has been a lovely day here in West Yorkshire but very cold. DS 3 and 2 both had football matches, first in ages because of all the snow which has now, just about, gone. DS1 match was called off, waterlogged pitch, he was very disappointed. DD rugby match was also called off, she has just phoned from Uni.
Chicken, new potatoes, broccolli and cauliflower cheese for tea. I baked yesterday for the first time in ages - smartie cookies (using some smarties up left over from christmas) and some oaty cookies, I made loads and there are about 3 left.
Work tomorrow, first full week in weeks and weeks, I am having to take it easy as my back is still not 100%. It is good to be back though.
I have done meal plans for this week as I am fit for nothing after working so that will make things a bit easier.
Bramble enjoy your soak and work tomorrow. I save all my special bath stuff for occasions when I need a bit of extra confidence.
Halight hope the twins enjoy their day.
Have a lovely evening everyone.

OH and I took a flask and sandwiches and went to a local harbour, which is a nature reserve, had a lovely walk for several hours, there was a rare bird spotted there this week so it was full of twitchers, but its a beautiful place, and we had a lovely afternoon, just relaxing for an hour now till dd comes home, OH is doing dinner :T:D0 -

Evening all, nice lazy day here as DD still been poorly, high temp and lethargic. We went for a walk to the co-op as I needed bread for lunches this week and some more milk, was good to get out for fresh air. I made a cottage pie this morning which is heating up now, yum yum
I'd love to be able to make a pie, I bought one of those enamel pie dishes from Lakeland last year and I've made a crumble in it so farI may be brave and have a go soon.
Ironing all done ready for the week, hope DD is ok for school tomorrow.

Thanks Pollys had a lovely long bath...the water eventually turned cold so had to get out! In my pjs and dressing gown now (wish i had a fluffy warm one instead of the silky nice looking one!)
Stew is in the SC ready for tomorrow, Will start cooking at about 6 for dinner. My bag of carrots went rotten which im a bit annoyed about, managed to save 5 so washed them and 3 are inthe stew and i'll pop the other two in the roasting tin with the pots for dinner. Making an effort to eat more veg so will have peas with it too.
Need to make my lunch for tomorrow, but don't know what to have! Have defrosted a pita bread, so maybe fill it with lettuce, pastrami and light mayo. Good thing about the location of my new job is there are NO shops within walking distance!! So will be v. good for money saving as won't be able to nip out and get something else if i am bored of what i have.
Just painted my nails, need to dry my hair and straighten it too.
Have a nice evening all!
