ds had finally perked up a bit. sat on the floor doing his puzzles. i'm sure that boy has a photographic memory! one of the puzzles has shapes - star, square, circle, hexagon and triangle and after telling him what the shapes were, he pointed to all the right ones when i asked him... will do it again in a mo to see if he has remembered

washing is up to date. just trying to dry it all. dinner was yum :D had some ice cream with crushed oreos left over from xmas for pudding :D

  • Hello all

hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday :)

had runny eyes last night and today woke up
with a banging headache :( have got ear ache and a
runny nose so am not a happy bunny :(

FIL is over for Sunday dinner as usual but feeling so
lousy I have cheated and got a lasagne from Mr T to go
with jacket spuds and salad. Not very OS I know but I normally
cook every thing from scratch, just haven't got the energy
    today.

TBH I could go to bed now!! But have dosed myself up and managed
to do a bit of tidying and a load of washing so the day is not
    totally wasted.

    Hugs to all xx

    Buenos Tardes

Well that is one of the advantages being here in winter Halight while it is darker in the morning it is still light here and it is 6pm (we are an hour ahead).

Another good day, spent this late morning/early afternoon putting a gas barbecue we brought with us together. While DH is definitely the screwdriver and spanner user, I have to sort out the hardware (nuts, bolts, screws, washers) out and read the instructions as we go along, anyway all together, just need to get a regulator to try it out. I tried using the netbook outside to post/read earlier, but could not see the screen. However, it did have a light cloud covering which meant I could see the screen, but the battery died as I finished reading.

Just had apple and cheese for lunch. They had a whole 1kgm steak fillet in Lidl reduced to 18€ (£15), so will slice that into steaks later, have have a couple for today, and freeze the rest.

    ITV3 again for us tonight.

Better go and get some food on the go.

MornI slipped out to a friends ~1am and stayed until sunrise, I couldn't sleep last night after me and OH had another "disagreement" and needed the tea and nocturnal company, it was also really nice walking home at that time of morning.

Please be careful walking round on your own in the wee small hours (sorry doing my mother hen bit :o)

Bit of a late reply, but yes it will be ok :D

Been MIA this weekend as DSIS and BIL came for the weekend, have had a great time, we didn't go out, well walked into town yesterday, but apart from that we have just chilled and talked. Last night we all played bowling on the wii then charades, we had DSD this weekend and she enjoyed it too.

Got to go and do stuff to get ready for work tomorrow *sigh*
