Hi guys, Hope you've all had a lovely christmas and new year. :beer:

I've still got a few things to sort wedding-wise, I need to find a ring for me that fits. I need an H but most shops seem to start from a J so might have to order one to be made. I do however have an extra little complication in that I found out that I am (very early stage) pregnant:), so my fingers will probably swell, so don't know what to do. Dress should be ok as it is a little bit big and I'll be 10 weeks when we get married. Will hopefully do a big announcement during the speeches (all being well).;)

Hope everyone is ok. Am dreading going back to school (work) tomorrow, has been a great holiday but not very relaxing.

Ooooh next holiday we have (half term) I'll go back as a Mrs. It's all very exciting!!:j:j:j

Well we made a list today of what we think we have left to do... its quite large but its more loose end type stuff! Rather than doing any of the stuff on the list, we went out and bought a TV we spotted yesterday... meh, will start on it again next weekend but I suppose we have a bit more time than some of you guys who have plans for early Feb!

Hi, Happy New Year! Has anyone had any bright ideas on table plans? I have been looking on ebay, trying to find a package incl place names and table numbers personalised to match our wedding theme. Has anyone got a good deal?

nope, but we need to speak to our venue about the layout we want - we dont want a "back row" of tables but need to see if we can have the tables more in an arc shape to fit them in.. but even then not sure if there will be room to.

But we will more than likley may our own, should be easy enough, simple wooden frame with some fabric, then print out on card and glue/stick onto fabric, then decorate with the uber amount of ribbon we bought! I think 20m was a bit too much haha!

I thought about that as we made the invite so already have the patterns ready, on idea I have had that may help is go to hobby craft or Dunhilm mill and buy a canvas to do it on.

and was thrilled with my stationery - I had the elegance collection, in cadbury purple and oyster and everybody commented on it.
she did the table plan, place names, table names & post box sign for me. If you want to see some pics, just ask

Ok, bit of a push today...

Managed to get the photographers "info request sheet" sorted and emailed... just need to organise a meet up and payment!

Started on the table plan... there has always been a plan since we made the invite list, and thankfully due to having no family politics to contend with and the right number of people from each group of people, it’s been very easy! We bought a 60x80cm canvas (rather than making our own) and done a rough draft of what we want and the "how to". It took about 4 hours to get the layout we wanted and many many many bits of paper and card lol!

Then we bought a few bits for the lollipop trees – it’s more of a fun thing to keep the OH quiet though!

And whilst we were in the area, nipped into the venue to book a meeting to discuss things. Although was surprised when they told us it could not be for another couple of weeks but in the contract is states that they would get in contact and start to confirm prices and stuff 2 months before! I am almost sure I have some paperwork that states min of 50 guests but when I asked tonight they said 60... I may have a bit of a battle on our hands but not much we can do about it and thankfully we are in a position where we have a few k in contingency. We also confirmed that the table layout we want is possible so now we can look at finishing off the table layout and get stuff printed off and stuck on!

HEHEHE ^^ This sounds like me - have already made my classroom door label with my mrs name up and am itching to put it up! not long now, I only have 29 days to go!!
