I think this time next month I will be a puddle of mush!

Tonight we are going to the hotel to iron out almost everything and confirm costings and the day itself - going to try and push for a few "upgrades" without the extra cost! We should then be able to finish the rest of the planning, start organising suppliers and finish off any work such as the table plans... A fair chunk of the money left to pay will also be done tonight, then the rest of the suplliers will be contacted for final payment as most wanted it by the end of this week!

OH has her "hen do part 2" this weekend whilst I am stuck with a 6 day long week with some long days - god dam working in IT!
  • my hen night 1 was last saturday and hen night 2 on the 3rd... eeek! xx (17 days left for me!)

Well went, and was plesently suprised when we got to the end, managed to upgrade a few things but walk away with an overall total of less than we had planned. Mostly due to the fact we had planned for 60 people (their normal minimum) but we only had 50 guests. Turned out that we had originaly agreed that there was no room hire charge as long as we had 50 guests during the day! Bang - that removed £500 from the overall total so we added free flowing drinks through the day and added nibbles after the ceremony!

So decided to pay the remaining amount there and then. Don't usualy do that until its all put down as official, however its essentialy already in writing so I didnt see the harm!

Now we have discussed timings and the rough plan for the day so we can move forward with the other suppliers, get them paid and give them direction! Hoppfully by the weekend we should be more or less finished appart from the last few odds and sods!

Still got a few bits t sort out but their all little bits.

We're slightly behind as my step son ended up going into hosiptal last week so the wedding has taken a bit of a back seat.

Luckerly my Mum seems to be on the ball and sorting everything out for me.

I just need to sort out my Mum's and H2B presents.

Oh and I guess we should start thinking about sorting out our honeymoon clothes etc!

Well since I can't turn up in a tank (costs too much!) I had a bit of a brain wave today....

I will be driving to the venue, the OH will already be there and I thought to myself, if only there was a way to get there in a bit more of a stylish fashion or more up my street. Anybody that knows me that I am into my cars, and used to heavily modify them.... so turning up in our trusty Nissan Almera won't really have the same impact. I did think of asking a few guys that I know if they could drive me there in their modified/sports cars but again, I want to be the one driving!

Did a bit of checking and it seems I can hire a Jaguar XF for £250 for 3 days from Avis. I have done a bucket load of overtime this month which will cover the cost.... now just to do a bit of "I need to find a way to justify it to myself"!
