    News:

Have sorted out date now! 19 July 2012

Have provisionally booked the registrar on IW for that date. Also waiting for confirmation of provisional booking of venue. Planning on going to visit venue in August - would love to get down earlier but got lots of things going on for my trip to Sweden before then.

All very excited now that I've sorted out these bits, and can't really focus on my work hehe

Michelle- :j for getting started and booking the date.

Hehe- you will find it difficult concentrating at work for the next 14 and bit months, I know I get easily distracted with wedding thoughts!!

Well apart from the sweets I think im sorted for my sweetie table, i was looking at scoops and not fing much so my oh suggested I looked under mini ladles and found these:

Fab news Michelle!! :) I bet you are bouncing round the room!!
And Emma is very right - even though I have sworn I won't do anything weddingy during term time I do find myself dreaming and stroking my spreadsheet lol. The latest thought was oooo I will need a new signature and then wondering whether it's too early to start practicing!! I'll need two one serious one for home things like banks etc, and one for work. And I'm now worrying that I'll end up preferring my work one lol.

Yay at your little ladle Emma!! :) That will go well with your colour scheme!!

lol at you and your spreadsheet! My friend laughed at me the toher day when I said I had updated my spreadsheet, but I did explain its the best way of us monitoring our small budget!!

They will, anything pink will be just fab! Ive hit a block on things to organise!! I really have most things either sorted or nearly sorted. Think I may decide on jewellery next!!

Oh and I need some reassurance after reading a post on here- Im going to a wedding on Saturday and will be an all day guest and I have a black polka dot dress with black jacket- do you think this is ok?

that sounds fine to me. I often wear black with white in it to a wedding xx

Absolutely Emma, I have noticed on all these trashy wedding TV shows there are always a handful of guests wearing black with accessories. I think as long as you don't wear solid black and only black (ie not polka dot) then you'll be fine. :) Besides - most of the men will be in black.

Just to reassure you - have a scan of these piccies - there is black scattered in amongst the other colours. http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=wedding+guests&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&biw=1024&bih=480

Thank you- i feel a bit more reassured now:). I hadnt even given it much thought, I saw the dress in oasis, tried it on loved it and it was a bargain (£60 down to £12) and then I read a thread and started to worry!! I will also have a matching polka dot flower on my jacket, and a cream flower on my bag and in my hair so Im sure it will be fine!

And Natalie- I do love those trashy wedding programmes!!:p
