Good morning everyone!!
So I think the nerves are starting to appear. It took me FOREVER to fall asleep properly last night. I was in that stupid tossing and turning half slumber for what felt like half of the night, then little Bun woke me up hopping around the landing. At the moment the office/wedding room door isn't shutting properly so I was worried incase he'd get in there and start munching on things - he is a very good Bun in terms of not eating things he shouldn't - apart from paper, he loves tearing, shredding, and nibbling anything paper. So now I'm up early grrr.
So my jobs today:
Organise smear test
Organise contacts
Organise more pill
Buy some more fabric plaster tape as heel grips for shoes (can't use t*t tape as I will be wearing tights)
Phone registry office re: timing of ceremony & parking0 -
Okay so I shouldn't have looked... but the forecast for our party is rain
With 0.3in of rainfall!!! Sob!! Why the **** did we decide we wanted a ****ing house/garden party!!! ARGH!!!

MrsDrink don't worry hun. Weather forecasts are unpredictable at best of times. Is all of your party planned for outsode? Is it too late to get a small gazebo?

MrsDrink, don't worry too much. We had a BBQ planned for my sisters birthday last Saturday- it tipped it down, all the roads were flooded etc- we held it anyway! :rotfl: (you should have seen the look in the shop assistants face when I told her it was still happening- priceless! :rotfl:)
We put up a gigantic tent, and 11 of us where very happy in there. Food was cooked on the BBQ under the gazebo, we stayed dry and drank champagne in the tent as the heavens opened outisde. It was really fun!
You may need to re-think high heels though, a chance to get some wedding Wellies???!:T0 -
Argh the nerves have just hit me. i get married tomorrow! one of my acrylics has broken grrr. despite it tipping down all week forcast isn't quite as bad for tomorrow but i am a bit gutted its not gorgeous sunshine but nevermind it'll still go ahead. mrs drink at least its warm a gazebo will keep everyone dry. After a drink or two people will forget the weather.0

Natalie - don't worry, the weather can change in a week!!! Take it with a pinch of salt for now. Do get a gazebo though just in case, then at least you will be dry
Ours is improving to the point where no rain at all is forecast, but you just never know! I have my huge umbrella at the ready anyway!
GOOD LUCK TOMORROW sweetilemon, woo hoo!!!!!!!
Just finished the promise book, OMG it took FOREVER, really hope that OH appreciates it. Just waiting for my brother to finish something and then he will help me put together the table plan. I've had my brows waxed, am about to have a shower and Veet my legs (doing fake tan tomorrow night), then gather together everything that we need for the venue tomorrow. Oh and then I need to write out the seating plan on an A3 sheet of paper, and write OH's card. And email the tog re shot list. And email the DJ re playlist. And finish off the last two gaps in the cake table backdrop. Eeek!!!!!
We are expecting some visitors later so I will have a nice relaxing evening hopefully.7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs

Natalie - just realised that you're looking at the forecast for next Saturday, that's 10 days away! Definitely don't believe anything until 2-3 days before! xxx7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs

Hey everyone.
The rest of the place name cards came yesterday so we can finish them off, plus I ordered some a5 white pearl card for table names and some white a4 card for the kids photo game- hoping it all comes for the weekend so I can get all that done.
Also ordered some buttons (fingers crossed they are ok) and a double ring book as I think it will look nicer in a photo of the rings!!:rotfl:
I got my teeth whitened yesterday!! It has made them whiter but the only thing is I had some white spots on my teeth- so they are now what my oh described as Hollywood white, so the rest although is a lot whiter it hasnt blended the white marks in- which I was hoping it would- so they are obviously there to stay forever! The horrible downside is im on a white diet- so rice crispies, bananas, white pasta, white rice, skimmed milk, chicken, pitta bread, cauliflower, potato (no skin) and any drinks have to be clear so im on flavoured water!! I keep telling myself though its a good way of not snacking on naughty food all day!!
:jCongratulations Dave_J
:jGood luck for tomorrow Sweetilemon.
:jNot long to go Wanchai- I bet you cant wait!0 -
Ah, Emma, you are flying now! And the all-white diet may be boring but I found that it's good for the figure lol
Hope that the buttons are fab xxx
I am slightly freaked out by the fact that it's so close now! EEEK! :eek:7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs
