OH MY GOODNESS OUR RINGS ARRIVED TODAY!

The creator only posted them to us two days ago from the USA by FedEx and they're here already! They're everything I hoped for, utterly gorgeous and fit both of us perfectly.

For anyone who's interested we had custom-made fingerprint bands (with each other's fingerprint moulded around the inside of the band) by Brent & Jess.

I have that surreal feeling today, like is it really only 2 weeks away. We have talked about for so long, shared so much and now its becoming this reality! Scared and excited all at the same time

gorgeous rings ghostlove - I'd have had fingerprint rings with the prints on the inside too had I not been given my grans ring so I'm a touch jealous!

have had a very productive day today, lots crossed off the list! I've put lots of photos on facebook, but today I've made the sign for the cards box, a reserved sign for our table, all of the colouring sheets for the kids bags (and printed and trimmed them and packed them in the bags) plus some little cards to say theres more sheets on the card table, and made a sign for a little purple crate I found at aldi when I bought the sweets to put the extra colouring sheets in. I'm going to add a few packs of wilkos super cheap crayons for the adults who will no doubt want to do some colouring too!

the final books arrived for the bags too so they are all complete now and packed ready. some of the books don't fit in, as the bags are small, so will have to just put them in before I give them out so they don't get too bent.

because we don't have assigned seating we won't know where the kids will be to set them out, but I think it's nice that we will have to go round to each kid to give them their bag and say hi.

OHs ring has been posted today so hopefully it will arrive tomorrow and I can return the other one.

Had another fitting with my dress maker today. Feel loads better now and it will be ready to collect on 21st. Was lovely to see now its all come together. She has done final pinning so on july 21st finger crossed it will be perfect

Hugs wanchai and FutureCooper - hope you get a good night's sleep tonight. A bath before bed and doing something relaxing before bed can help - maybe watch a comedy DVD/TV show for half an hour?

I had a terrible day at work yesterday, feeling ill and having to deal with morons, then having to work late.

Today was much better. The lovely guy that sells tickets in my station who I have a little chat with every day gave me a good luck kiss on the cheek for the wedding Despite a big deadline next week at work, we actually had a good laugh working towards it today. I met OH in town after work and we picked up his suit. The cravat was a very blue purple, which won't look good with the purpke bridesmaid dresses, but the hire shop are ordering a better matching purple, which should come in by Thursday (3 days before). It does mean 'pick up suit' can't be ticked off the list yet, but it's not far from where other things need picking up from too.

Got home quite late with fish and chips for tea, only to find lots of our wedding stuff has arrived (insect repelling skin so soft from avon for honeymoon, umbrellas and gifts for BMs) and OH's colleague has made us a pile of cupcakes with hearts on, all arranged on a nice cake stand! And an email to say a certain secret something for OH is hopefully going to arrive tomorrow! Yay!
