    Soooooooo close Wanchai!!

Natalie - fingers crossed those pesky clouds will pass. This rain can not last forever. (It is sunny in south Lincs at the mo).

Ladies, I am officially a bridal wreck. I have cried on and off all day. My mum sent a beautiful email, after i had sent her our hotel link, saying the most lovely things about me and H2B and it made me cry. Then i received a letter at work that had my married name on it and it completley freaked me out seeing Mrs M C
. One of my invigilators had used my married name thinking the request for a reference would come after the summer holidays. I burst into tears again!! Every one in the office thinks its hilarious but I'm worried as i still have 2 weeks and 2 days to go. I'm not sleeping and I am so tired also.

So i have spent time today dreaming of my honeymoon and relaxing in the junior suite at this stunning hotel:

eek.. need to to these ASAP..
    - get/make thank you cards for key people
    - get/make card for OH
    - get presents for parents

in the past two days I have bought the sweets for the favours and packaged them all up individually. will stuff them in the glasses before we take them to the venue. OHs ring has arrived, and it's lovely. he hasn't tried it on yet so fingers crossed it fits fine or I'll be panicking to exchange it! I've bought the final bits for the kids bags (bubbles, fruit sweets, noisy blower things and some funny heart shaped glasses they had in the party bag bits in tesco) and just waiting for two more books to arrive in the post (on their way from amazon!) and they will be done. they're all packed up and ready. I've put together all of the table sign frames, ready for the printouts to go in, and finished painting the wooden letters.

my list still looks a bit scary but its much shorter than it was!

still have no idea what to give the parents :/

MrsDrink don't worry hun. Weather forecasts are unpredictable at best of times. Is all of your party planned for outsode? Is it too late to get a small gazebo?
    *cough* How much?! :rotfl:
I do have two 3x3 gazebos that I bought last summer when Tescos were selling things for street parties for the royal wedding - they were £17 each, although they don't have sides. But we've got 45+ guests coming - unless we were to hire a proper marquee which wouldn't fit in the garden some of us are just going to have to get wet :rotfl:
    MrsDrink, don't worry too much.
You may need to re-think high heels though, a chance to get some wedding Wellies???!
Awww thanks Jo!! (Hope you don't mind the shortening of your name). No heels?! That's it the whole thing is called off :pmsl:. Nah - I'll either get them wet on the patio, or stay inside :p
Argh the nerves have just hit me. i get married tomorrow! one of my acrylics has broken grrr. despite it tipping down all week forcast isn't quite as bad for tomorrow but i am a bit gutted its not gorgeous sunshine but nevermind it'll still go ahead. mrs drink at least its warm a gazebo will keep everyone dry. After a drink or two people will forget the weather.
Ooo how exciting Sweetilemon - not long to go now!! What time is your ceremony? Shame about your acrylics - I don't know much about them - but have you got any nail glue you could stick it back together with? (This is what I do with my natural nails if I tear one).

    Hey everyone.
The rest of the place name cards came yesterday.
Also ordered some buttons and a double ring book.
Fab that MrPP can get the place name cards finished :rotfl:; I have my fingers crossed that your buttons will be perfect.
Ladies, I am officially a bridal wreck.
Emma - does white chocolate count on your all white diet??
((hugs))!! I am kinda in a state of disbelief at the moment. I'm almost beginning to feel worried that I'm not overly excited. I'm kinda flat really about the whole thing. Work is super slow at the moment, and people keep asking me whether I'm getting nervous etc... the answer at the moment is no. :S But saying that I did struggle to get to sleep last night!
PMSL at white chocolate. And don't forget mergines and cream. :) Oooo and white marshmallows... and harbio eggs - just minus the yolk.

Oh Emma - what is a book ring?

SK - sounds like you've been really busy!!! I'm jealous after the day I've had!

Ha Wonder if I could find some 11.5cm heeled ones :rotfl:
I think I'm just going to cross my fingers and hope for the best. Regardless of what happens we will be married which is the important thing :D

    My edited jobs list:
    MrsDrink wrote: »
    So my jobs today:
    Organise smear test Done
Organise contactsDone - and while I was at it I've booked my sight and contact lens check ups as well - aren't I good girl!
Organise more pill Done - will collect them when my contacts are in stock
Buy some more fabric plaster tape as heel grips for shoes (can't use t*t tape as I will be wearing tights) Well I didn't get any plaster tape cause morrisons didn't have any - instead I got some of those gel heel things from Scholl. So far they seem to be working okay. Will see what I think on the day - I still have some fabric plaster tape (it's just the sticky bit- no cushioney absorbing bit) that I might stick on my feet as well
Phone registry office re: timing of ceremony & parkingDone - so I phoned up to help guide the length of parking everyone'll need - and where me and my mum need to park. He said it could take up to an hour  - so if you add on the 15 mins of getting their early and the photos afterwards that means we can't really park at the carpark behind the town hall. Going to have to park up and walk a bit... or get my mum to drop me and my granddad off and then go park up, but then I'll worry about her finding her way back!!

Right off to go and do some digging :D
