MrsD - that was me with the silly small feet and the fabric plasters - good aren't they?
Hope your topper arrives soon StokieBecks - I'm nervous about the outstanding things I'm due in the post. Hopefully they'll all arrive with time to spare so I'm not stressing at the last minute.
Pinkprincess, I'm assuming you want fabric covered buttons? I would just ring your local haberdasher and see if they stock or can order them. Or these heart buttons are cute from John Lewis:

Smithkinson - congrats on the bargain ring choice - it looks really lovely and shiny in the photo. Good luck with the to-do list!
OH has finished getting the men's gifts today, so that takes us down to 12 things to do :beer:0 -
I dont think I will be able to get matching material ones- well i could have them made but its very fiddley!
Im thinking something like this:

I love the ones youve posted but they cant be flat ones- they need to have a little sewing post (not sure what its really called) at the back.0 -
My laptop is on a serious go slow else I'd be helping look for buttons. When I get back online on it - how many buttons do you need Emma?
GL lol I don't think I want to know about your fiance's knitting ability
SB oh god I'd be a wreck waiting for things in the pos. Like just now my first thought was to look online at heel grips but I'd be paying a fortune to get them here in time!!0 -
I think I need about 20 and they need to be about 11mm. I think I may go for these ones:

Im not sure if they will be too shiny though!0 -

Oh these are fab. I may order them and if they arent right at least I could return them- I would order 5 packs I think just to be sure I had enough- its just difficult to tell though if they are white or ivory- my dress is quite a pale ivory- what colour do you think these buttons are??0 -
I guess the big problem with buying fabric buttons online this close to the day is ensuring they are the same colour ivory as your dress. At least with the pearly ones you don't have that problem, and I think the pearly ones will look great, especially as you have other pearly jewellery etc. x0
