    Hi all!

Well, the dress is just amazing, I love it and can't believe that I finally have it home :):):) I am so excited!! :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

Currently packing for honeymoon, finishing off my pinboards and sorting boxes of stuff for OH to bring to the venue on Thursday. I WILL get finished in time! Going to collect the BM dress and veil in 2 hours and then off to my mum's!! :)

hmm wanchai, when I google dafont, the first suggestion is "dafont virus", with loads of people saying when they downloaded from the site their laptops were infected with trojans.... so I might avoid that. I'm guessing you didn't have any problems? Thanks for the suggestion.

biscuitmad, you are so talented! I love the lilies in particular. Are the lollies for everyone, or just children (I would like one!:D)

Hope that you got it sorted, I see that the techies helped you out :D

Impressed Biscuitmad. They are amazing, what a talent!

Quick update - FMIL is home. She's moaning and driving FFIL mad so she's almost back to herself!! Already saying she won't be coming to the wedding :( she's so negative, it actually hurts people's feelings. She has no idea :(

Aw, glad that she is recovering but sorry to hear that she is being so negative. Hugs xxx

Hugs FutureCooper! That's good news she's home. I'm sure your FMIL is not intending to cause offence. My FMIL is also struggling to get better and is feeling a bit negative at times. I guess it's quite common after the trauma of a serious illness. My FMIL says she just keeps replaying the horror of her brush with death in her mind. It's obviously been very distressing for her. I really hope both our FMILs are on the mend, and can also make it to and enjoy our wedding days.

Hugs to you also BB, and hope that your FMIL makes it to the wedding xxx

biscuitmad, your cake decoratioons and lollies are FABULOUS, oh my goodness your guests are in for such a treat!

My to-do list is still quite long Ghostlove, will post it later but it is getting shorter, thank God! :rotfl:

Our forecast for next Saturday is improving, woo hoo! Trying not to get too hopeful but I can't help it. I gave an elderly lady a lift to church this morning (she was standing at a bus stop as I was coming out of the shop with my dress and I felt sorry for her standing there getting wet, so offered to drive her). She was so sweet and said that she would pray for a dry day for us. It really touched me :)

I really hope that it's dry for all of us.

pbny, cannot WAIT to see your photos!!!!!!!!!! Has anyone PMed you the group link yet? xx

    Right, back to work...

Pleased to hear the hair brooch arrived. Phew!

Lots of lovely lists going up. I'll post mine when i have a bit more time.

Today i went for my dress fitting for the size rather than the length. I have been measured and squeezed in today! I am having a beautiful backless bolero/strap kinda thing made with the tulle removed for the skirt of the dress. Its going to have little poppers on it so i can remove it in the evening. I go back again next week when they have made a calico version of it. I am also having alts to the lace back so it fits better on my bum shelf. :rotfl: I am pleased to report i still love the dress and now its tea length its beginning to look like the dress i wanted and the new underwear fitted lovely underneath.

Now i'm off to beautify as its my hen cocktail drinks. Just 10 of us meeting here for champagne cocktails and canapes then a walk up to the pub/hotel for a boogie. Us oldies know our limits :rotfl:

Quite a productive day...met the lady who is now doing my alterations so feel a bit better about that. She has seen me in dress today jsut to see what she needs to do. I am back on Thursday with her :)

Went and got properly measured to for a nice bra (if such a thing exists with my silly big boobs :roftl:) - nothing weddingy where i got measured but because she had been so good i did buy a bra and knicker set that was only £12 in sale (it can be my travel there set)

me and mum have done a table plan we think will be ok for everyone. (tough if not now as to be quite honest I couldn't care less where anyone sits theres only 16 of us round one square table!)

I have just ordered some underwear off the internet. will see which style i prefer then send rest back without trying

OH is out now for the night. Won't see him now until tomorrow afternoon when I finish work so quiet night for me.

i made a list of things i need to take with me and it's already looking like i will need a bus :rotfl:....no way is my case big enough!!

On my phone so just a quick one - will post my to do list up later, it's pretty long!

Good luck to Sunday's brides, and I hope all of Saturday's weddings went well!!

I just popped on to say I've just ordered OH's ring :j :j I finally got him in to town today to try some on and get sized and we've just ordered one online. I was starting to panic he wouldn't have one!

Afternoon everyone!! :D Did you miss me?!

Well on Friday the girls from work surprised me with a very thoughtful and generous gift of a contribution to our underwater camera and housing that we bought (2nd hand) this morning. (See photo on my banner on FB :D)
So as you know MrD and I went off for a 2 nights break, it was lovely just what we needed. I ate everything I planned to and nothing more :T so I won't have done any damage to the waist :) Spiderman film was really good!!
Then today we went diving for our last pool session before our honeymoon and picked up the camera and had a play.
I am now shattered so I'm off back to sleep!! :D

    Will catch up more later.

Of course we missed you, MrsDrink! Glad you had a good weekend away.

Glad your 3rd hen do was fun too, PinkPrincess.

I've just made up all my favours while watching the tennis and bagged up the place cards etc for each table - except I'm 7 mini rolls of love hearts short for the favours, so that's a job for OH tomorrow on his day off - hunt down mini love hearts! (I want to tick it off my list, but it's not really done til I get the extra seven!)
