:T futurecooper on your fmil
Good luck pbny and all the other brides/grooms tomorrow just remember to enjoy it and not stress over the little things, what's important is that you are marrying the man/woman of your dreams.
Enjoy
Night all

Hooray!
I've finally finished making my BMs' gifts and ordering them online! :j It's taken me days and weeks to make them. Hope they like them!
Down to 16 things to do. Would have been less if Amazon had done what they guaranteed to do - grr! Anyway, shattered - night night!0 -
Right, what has everyone got left to do?
I have to:
Chase my bestie about the ceremony writing, as our photographer needs a copy so she knows what to expect.
Choose and buy the cords/ribbons that Mr Ghostlove is going to be weaving the handfasting cords from.
Hope like hell that my dress is finished and the rings arrive from the USA in time for the big day.
Arrange our UK honeymoon, as the blasted passport still isn't here.
So I really don't have much left to do. People keep asking how the planning's going, and apart from the big one of the ceremony-writing, it's pretty much all done! Let's see your lists.
Oooh ooh and good luck pbny!I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.0 -

How sweet of you to send wanchai your spare flower FutureCooper :T
Yay for picking up your wedding dress too wanchai:j
Ghostlove - where are you thinking about for a UK honeymoon? Will it be a short break, before the trip to Marrakech? I can think of a few lovely places
This is my outstanding list (also waiting for 4 things to arrive in the post - presents for parents, BMs and map I need for my table names/plan - come on Amazon!):
Finish sorting usher/best man gifts
Pack for honeymoon
Pack for wedding
holiday currency
choose wedding video tracks etc & send to videographer
Make table names
Make table plan
Make favours
Send table plan and room allocation list to venue
Notify venue of final numbers
Make ceremony cds, breakfast cds
Pick up groomsmen's outfits
Order parents gifts
Pick up cake
Pick up dress
Pay final balance to Paul Disco
Take things to venue in advance0 -
Main thing to do is making sure this dress is sorted asap. Also have to do a table plan for 16 that OH approves of. Then really its just making sure everything is packed ready
MIL is sorting out evrything to do with the party the week later. My mum has ordered us a small cake to take with us. everything that needs paying in advance is paid. Waiting for a couple of things off ebay to arrive.
i also need to get a weddingy umbrella :rotfl:£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120 -
I'm looking at wedding umbrellas too0
-
Ordered two purple and two white umbrellas. Now I'm feeling a bit like I do when I order Christmas presents online in December - nervous whether everything will arrive in time!0
-
Umbrella. Now there's a good idea, considering our whole ceremony and reception are outdoors with no shelter!I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.0

By Sunday, ghostlove, we'll both have two weeks to go - and I'll start looking at the 14 day advance weather report every day!
I've never wanted to get married indoors, but given everyone is making huge efforts to travel a long way to our ceremony, I feel obliged to have the ceremony inside if it rains and keep them all dry (til the Bellinis come out!;)). I'd happily stand out in my wellies and brolly for the cermony. I'm used to it from hiking and Glastonbury
It's only just struck me - we're having a riverside garden wedding - with these rains I hope it's not just a river wedding! What if the garden and the hotel flood? :eek:0
