:T:j:T:j:T:j woo yeah way to go wanchai  that's brilliant !

I'll put a pic of the dress on fb. It's easier and I'm lazy!

APW is a really really brilliant blog. I've been reading it for years, before I was even with my OH. Super sensible wedding advice and articles about all aspects of weddings, plus some great stuff about married life too. Everyone should read it!

I've just packaged up my MoH's dress so I'm off to the post office with that. I was really annoyed, because I ordered it last Wednesday as she was visiting me Sunday-Tuesday this week and she needs to try it on. It wasn't dispatched until Tuesday afternoon, so it didn't get here in time. What's more annoying is that I emailed them twice on Monday morning saying if it hasn't been posted yet (as it was showing as not yet shipped) then can they please send it directly to her instead because I won't see her before the wedding now. But they didn't reply!! So now I'm having to pay again to post it on to her, and hope it fits or she will have to pay AGAIN to post it back to them.

woohoo nice one wanchai! :D Bet that's got your day off to a good start!

I really can't put my do-list on here - it covers 4 sides of A4 (and my writing's pretty tiny!). I am off until the wedding though. Do have the small detail of moving house on monday though. So I'm really super productive today but need to resist the urge to attack the list and carry on cleaning and putting stuff into boxes instead....

Nightmare SKS! Hope that it isn't too expensive to post.

Yeah, am really delighted about the weight loss :):) it's given me such a boost to keep it up for the next 29 days (oh God, only 29 days to go!).

Ooh, dying to see a pic of the dress! :)

Liz - good luck with the house move! I salute you - don't know how you movers and DIYers do it with weddings coming up :D xx

    OMFG *faints*

Yep, that's about right! Wow, that is a list and then some, MrsDrink! Your DIY plans alone look like about as much as I would achieve over about 5 years ;) Look, if you get bored after the wedding with nothing to do in your perfectly decorated house, you can always pop over here and lay a patio and change a few doors...:D

Thanks smithkinson and StokieBecks for the place card suggestions. At the risk of sounding totally bridezilla:D, has anyone ordered any pda stationery in either purple or amethyst, to give me an idea of what shade they are? I would probably go for the amethyst, if it's not too grey - I hate grey!

That's a pain with posting the dress smithkinson... hope it fits well! I love your 99p one in the photo :T

Well done wanchai on the weight loss:j (remember to eat enough to stay fit and well, too!)

Lizd - best of luck with the house move. I never wanted to have to plana wedding, but I think I'd rather do that than plan another house move! At least you get to enjoy the day at a wedding after all the planning!

I haven't, but I know they do swatch packs, or if you ordered one of each to look at it would only be 50p delivery (50p on orders up to 99p). I'm with you on colours having to be just right!!

[rude word] [rude word] [rude word] [RUDE WORD]!!!

We haven't even put our invitations together yet, let alone posted them. I am RUBBISH!
I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

How annoying . . . I posted a great long reply to you all and my computer crashed!

Quick summary - Wanchai, amazing weight loss and you should be very proud of yourself.:j I have kicked myself today and said No more excuses or moodys, just get on it. It is only 6 weeks today and have totally wasted this week on pigging out.
Natalie - To work all day and then paint all night - where do you get your energy?! Also your list has scared the hell out of me.

I have got on the wedding band wagon today and i have printed off all the inserts for the menu choices which i have finally got returned and i can cut and stick those in my place cards over the weekend. I have also drawn a detailed plan of how i want my tables to look so i have exact numbers for flower heads, packs of sprinkles and sparkles required and runners for each and the frame has arrived for my poem which i am going to place on the table with our guest book and more flowers heads.

Thanks BabyBoots - and I promise to eat enough! :) I did restrict my cals to about 1,000 the first couple of days but am being more sensible now. Just cutting out ALL junk and booze has really helped.

GhostLove - don't worry, you can still get them out! Just go for email/text RSVPs and you'll be fine xxx

Mel - thanks also :) I put on a dress this morning that I hadn't worn for a few weeks (fitted on top, belted at the waist, full skirt) and it is loose on me! I actually jumped for joy! :D I'm not dreading next week's fitting so much any more - I just need to keep this up.

Ahhh, hate it when the computer crashes when you've typed for ages!!! I sometimes copy the text before posting just in case! Yay that you're back on the wagon  And oooh, what's your poem? xx

p.s. I LOVE Poundland!!! Went for a browse at lunchtime, bought 4 small blackboards with chalk (for guests to write messages on and take pics of themselves) and a pack of glue dots - amazing value for £1 each! :D I also scoped out their sweet selection - I wasn't going to do a sweet table but I am now!!! They have HUGE bags of flumps, flying saucers, toffee popcorn etc for £1 each. Cheaper than eBay and probably almost as cheap as Makro (which I don't have a card for - boo). Yay!!!!!!!! Sweet table here we come!
