OMG - ONE MONTH TODAY FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!

    Just realised!

I just came on to say this!!! :j:j

I now cant get hold of the second hair dresser (after the first one cancelled on me!) i was already worried about this one as she didnt want a contract or deposit. I have now emailed her twice and havent had a response. So if anyone knows any hairdressers in Aylesbury i would appreciate it. Thanks

I have spent today making chocolate lollies, did i post a pic of these??

And sticking personalised stickers on to bottles of bubbles!

I still feel like there is tons to do and cant believe its only a month to go!!!!

OMG those to do lists!! I'm going to be borrowing all of those and compiling my list tomorrow. Too tired tonight to do it and I'll scare myself I think!

I'm sat trying to amuse myself while H2b is watching another football game. I have wondered on to wedding blogs again. What will I do when I'm married??!!!!

biscuitmad - good luck arranging your hairdresser - sorry I have no Aylesbury knowledge!

FutureCooper - I know what you mean about the footie - mealtimes and other evening arrangements seem to revolve around it now! We had to eat on trays on the sofa on Monday because a game was on, and yesterday, we had to fit dinner in between two games... glad it's not on during our weddings!

OH thinks it would be a waste of my newfound money to get a videographer, as it's so expensive, but I'm very tempted. I'm going to ring the one my sister used tomorrow and see if they're available, which I might take as a sign ;)

I've had the final responses on my hen do next weekend, a select, but thankfully not non-existent gathering! Looking forward to it :)

Oh youve all been chatty today.

Ok so today I have rung the dressmaker, she said my dress should be finished this weekend- it better be!!

Also, me and oh went to the wholesalers today after work and now have loads of sweets:
    Lovehearts
    lollipops
    blue and pink sour bottles
    chocolate raisins
Freddos (I love cadburys and these worked out most mse!!:D)
    marshmellows
    dip dabs
    wine gums
    giant strawbs
    haribo love hearts
    cola bottles
    flying saucers
    Fudge

Im sure there should be something there for everyone.

Oh and I think we have decided that we will get our mums a glass for the day and an iou for a wedding photo. Its easier that trying to get flowers delivered to the venue, plus I think they would prefer keepsake items anyway.

    Welcome StokieBecks

    SKS at 9.45

My to do list doesnt seem too bad (well if I tell myself that it wont seem so bad):
Finalise cake details with cake maker
Meet with photographer (this Sat) (and decide what shots we want)
Meet with dj- finish play list
Make place name cards and table numbers
Finalise table plan and pass details on to my Dad to give to his work colleague
    Pay chair cover balance
    Print photo for bouquet charm
Get final numbers to venue for catering
Pick dress up from final fitting and take for cleaning
Have make up trial (14th July)
    Finish of childrens photo game
    Have trial for nails

    Oh needs to
    Go for suit fitting
Put ceremony music on a disk

Im sure theres more, but thats most of it (I really hope!!:D)

Ooh, PinkPrincess, that's good news that your dress will be ready soon!:T The sweets sound great too :)

My dress shop texted me tonight to say the alterations are done (bigger back panel and shorter hem):j Will ring up tomorrow to make an appointment, and try and get one where my sis and mum can help too.

They suggested they could either steam it and I could take it away, or I could leave it to be steamed nearer the time - any thoughts on which is best? I'm not sure if they'll charge me for keeping it there longer. It'll be stored at my Mum's house, and she doesn't have anywhere to hang it full length, so I think it'll be lying on a spare bed.

I'm sure I'll miss something if I summarise, but from memory:
    • wanchai is crash dieting and making lots of gorgeous diy wedding paraphenalia
    • MrsD is blitzing the entire house and garden in a DIY & painting extravaganza
    • Silaqui is continuing with loads of exercise and has a fab new make up look for the wedding
    • smithkinson is working out her early morning wedding plans
    • PinkPrincess' dress is nearly ready
    • My OH's mum is getting better and will hopefully make OH's bro's wedding this weekend
    • We're the usual split between long to-do lists and very organised!
    • StokieBecks is new and one of the organised ones!
    What's your first dance Lauralou?

    L – cockaleekie soup

I thought I was one of the organised ones! All those little jobs add up though!

Just had a family of 4 RSVP yes :j :j so that takes my outstanding numbers down nicely! Means I'm only waiting on one more children's RSVP too so have gone ahead and ordered the favour bags, and am now making the artwork to go on them. Exciting!

Haven't done OHs measurements yet though.. my list didn't do so great
