Natalie, thats true- one of the dresses is my size so I did say to my mum if I really liked it but it wasnt suitable for the wedding it would be a fab dress for a nice evening out on honeymoon!:rotfl:

I probably will, Ill be getting withdraw symptoms from here, will be logging straight on at lunch to see if Ive missed out on anything exciting!!

You can marry in a CofE church if you can show:-

    That one of you:

    • has at any time lived in the parish for a period of at least 6 months or
    • was baptised in the parish concerned or
    • was prepared for confirmation in the parish or
    • has at any time regularly gone to normal church services in the parish church for a period of at least 6 months
This is the infomation from church of england website and seen as none of them apply the last one will have to happen. so i guess we could go whenever over 6months.

at least u have some short weeks! emma! x

I have decided that next week I will be placing an order for the white gazebos from tescos - I can get the two 3x3m (no sides) for £34 delivered to my 'local' tescos store - I can collect it on my way home from school :) :T

Lol don't appologise for the questions - I'm sure you're all the same - any excuse to talk about your weddings PMSL! :rotfl:

(Oh and in my opinion - it's never too early - I think if you get the timing right you can get some right good bargains... like the gazebos from Tescos - I'm sure they are that cheap because of all the garden/street parties that are going to be happening with the Royal Wedding. I'll also be buying all my booze at Christmas to make the most of all the offers that'll be around then).

    Okay my bouquet.

did u just make it or did u have a guide?
I used a picture on the internet as a guide...
    http://www.silkweddingdesigns.com/burgundy-ivory-gerbera-posy-bouquet-wfgerbdx040x.html
Along with various youtube 'how to make a tied bouquet/hand posy' videos. They are actually easier to make than I thought they'd be.

where did u get your flowers?
Because I wanted burgundy gerberas it was harder to find than say if I wanted fake red roses. I used silkweddingdesigns on ebay (figured that way I have the protection of ebay if anything went wrong). The flowers are lovely. If you look in the thread at the top of the board about doing your own flowers there are various recommended places in that.

how much did it cost u in total?
Because I wasn't sure what 'white' colour flower I wanted, or how many flowers I needed for my bouquet I did buy extra. I got 18 burgundy, 12 white and 12 ivory gerberas. This all cost £56.09. My actual bouquet though only uses 9 burgundy flowers and 8 white/ivory ones which works out at around £30. One spare burgundy flower has been made into a button hole for MrD, and one of the white/ivory flowers will go in my hair. The rest I will sell on. :) I just need to find a dress so I know whether I want white or ivory flowers!
