:oI'm 21 will be 22(nearly 23) when we get married.

Laura when i want OH to do things i want it done asap but he is more laid back and will do it in his own time. I keep on at him to do things and always moaning at him to do it but it eventually gets done in his own time! Maybe when he leaves for work tomorrow mention the vicar again?
I have so far done all the planning for the wedding - ive just told OH what we are getting/what company etc and ask for his bank details:rotfl::rotfl:

Natalie:rotfl:at the naughty things - i havnt really thought about underwear yet! I want to get a personalised garter!

Well it's official - I have just had my first (that I know of) wedding related dream lol.

I dreamt I was dress shopping with my mum. I tried on a few pretty ivory dresses - then tried on a grey dress with large checks... lol decided I loved it, but then realised that it was just like one of my work dresses and I really shouldn't wear it on my wedding day. :rotfl:

lol thats quite funny all my dreams are crazy at the min and about the baby... like giving birth to puppies and monkeys....

well OH rang me and said he left a message for the vicar to call him back... weather he has or not is a different matter!!!! im quite mad at him ATM as he has spent £200-400 on his van which he didnt tell me about. it wouldnt usually bother me but ive be keeping things tight so we can afford to pay debt off and he goes and does that. urgh!!!! x

Oh bless you - lol giving birth to various animals. :rotfl:

I only really have one word... men! :undecided
But seriously - great news that he has phoned the vicar!! :)
  • LauraL- Thanks, that is local to me, but my sister is coming round thurs so I wont be able to go- shes very keen and interested in the wedding but she doesnt like wedding fairs!!:rotfl:

My oh is quite good, he is interested in what Im booking and planning so I always run everything through him first- his usual first question is 'how much is that'!! works out quite well though as he ensures I dont go spending out on something that we dont need, or he knows I will change my mind about later!! He was funny when I went dress shopping as I went to lunch after with one of my sisters and my nan and he text me a couple of times asking how much I had spent, and as I didnt reply straight away I think he started to panic that I had spent way over budget!!:rotfl:

Laurar- well fingers crossed he has, just think you could have that and your reception venue sorted soon!!:j

i know crazy i think the puppy one was because i sold our dog it was a pain in the bum and i just couldnt cope so would never of coped with a newborn too... so i think that was guilt and the monkeys is because we went to blackpool zoo and knowsley safari park while we were away and DS has not stopped talking about them lol....

    anyways:

Cake does anyone know what they want. My stepMIL is making ours, i think we are having cup cakes with a small cake on the top. but i think i may buy extra cupcakes unless she doesnt mind makeing more (she will be making 40 and a cake) from M&S its £35 for 48 and i thought i could get 2 of the wire stands (they hold 23) and put them either end of the buffet table then have no sweets on the buffet apart from some friut salad or something and the cupcakes? x

Lol Emma. In my dream my 'work' dress was a bargain of £200 - I was well happy cause that was under budget!! Ha!

LauraR - Cake - yep :) I have decided what we're having (lol note the 'I' and 'we' in that sentence lol....) We're going to have 5cm square cheesecakes for everyone. That will be the only dessert I'm going to do - if people don't like them - tough... lol will be more for me to eat!!

*disclaimer - to be fair to MrD while I have organised pretty much everything, he has had a say in it all, I have shown him the options so he could help. If anything it's me reining in the purse strings - like with the marquee I think he'd be happy to spend a fortune hiring one, where as I'm planning on spending just over £40 for 2 3x3 gazebos which we can then sell on afterwards! Ooops I was supposed to be defending him here and it's turned into a mini rant! Lol. Love him really!
