Im also 'kinda' studying. Its taken a backseat recently! I really do need to get my act together with it. Im doing it via long distance which i do find hard as i dont have anyone telling i need to hand work in - which is what i need:rotfl:0 -
And now I'm sat here pondering how old everyone is! Lol.
I'm 31 - will be 32 when we marry.
(obviously you don't all have to say your ages lol)0 -
Ooo what are you doing LauraL? Mine is through the OU - it's hard work self-motivating isn't it!0

Hahahaaaa and now you lot are making me feel very old!
We were talking the other day - not about having children but about MrD's job. We both agreed he can't do his current job for life (he's a carpet fitter). We did talk about him becoming a house husband. I told him he can go to the bakers/butchers/grocers and get cheap fresh food and get my tea on the table. :rotfl:
I have also been looking at gifts to give him on our wedding day. I wouldn't normally be thinking about it - but it's our anniversary of the day we met and we normally get cards/gifts. Lol I've been thinking of naughty sexy things instead of the usual cufflinks lol. Something to play with on our wedding night.0 -
lol!!! naughty!!!!
im really annoyed with OH tonight! he hasnt called the vicar and he came in at 5.30 and not even bothered since he got home. im just going be doing everything for it. i dont even think hes that bothered. it was hardly a proposal when we got engaged and now he just doesnt seam to care...
i dont know if im been hormonal or what but im really fed up... we have been together 6years and i love him so much...
bloody hell!!!!0 -
Awwww LauraR - I am sure it isn't because he doesn't want to/doesn't care... it's just that he is a boy and as a result of this he is inherently useless lol.
I started a thread about a month ago about things that us brides were 'letting' their grooms organise for their weddings. It was tongue in cheek but I think it was very true. I'm organising pretty much everything - mainly cause I organise everything in our relationship anyway - from where to go on holiday through to which toilet to get for the bathroom. The only real thing MrD is sorting out for this wedding is his suit, and even then to be fair his mum is hopefully going to give him a hand to sort that out.
Could you phone the vicar tomorrow and arrange a time for you, your OH, and the vicar to meet to discuss the requirements? I know it's you doing things, but if your OH is anything like MrD it's either that or wait an eternity hoping for it to happen eventually lol.
