Have a lovely hen weekend Wanchai! Everyone's plans sound fun, but it is exciting you're having a surprise!

Well done on the swim & gym the same day PinkPrincess :T- my legs have been aching all day from some dumbell squats yesterday - I've had trouble walking, sitting down, taking stairs, well everything really!

    FutureCooper - that's ace you've finished your invitations - that must've been some night's work!:j

MrsDrink - hope all is well with you. It's very exciting your passport is here with your new name! I'm leaving all that admin til August!;) Well dne on all your honeymoon organising too.

Smithkinson - I had a 'mare finding wedding shoes too - I now have some Rainbow club wedges, which will hopefully be fine, but I know I'll end up dancing barefoot sooner or later! You're probably best to avoid the rain for your shoot - we had ours in the sleet at 1 degree - it's fair to say only the black and white ones were any good - we looked frozen in the colour ones!

11 more Fridays!!! :j:eek::j - - - thats my emotions. One minute all excited then the next minute scared stiff!

Happy Hen weekend Wanchai. Looking forward to hearing all about it.

I have the awful task of having to buy cake this weekend :rotfl:I have decided to buy a small M&S wedding sponge and Waitrose too. Going to try each one and then I will order my favourite. I think I will buy sponge for the actual tiers of cake on show then a few fruit cake cutting bars to make sure there is a choice and plenty to go round. It might take more than 1 slice of each to decide. (I will never lose that final half stone!)

Enjoy your hen weekend Wanchai :)

I've just got back from the gym, I do body combat AND pump on a firday so I'm shattered now! I went for the next weights up in pump as well - I'm gonna hurt tomorrow!

Looking forward to a long weekend of a tiny bit of marking, lots of wedding invitation writing, job application preparation, and plenty of chilling! xx

Hope the cake tasting is going well FutureCooper! ;)

Sliaqui - I'm very impressed with your double-dose of exercise yesterday. :T I've not tried either of those yet - they both sound hard, neither mind straight after each other.

My quads finally recovered from Wednesday, so I went to legs bums and tums today. No real improvement obvious in my weekly weigh-in and measurement stats from three weeks of stepping up the exercise, but I'm sure there are general health benefits I can't see, and will hope for some noticeable difference in a few weeks. I might try body pump one time - both the two weekly slots are at fairly awkward times for me, but it sounds like a good one for getting in shape!

    Have a lovely weekend all!

Thanks for the vote of confidence Babyboots :) Body pump has definitely made a difference to me and I'm sure it's that that has started to get me losing inches. It is hard, but I found I got used to it quite quickly. The first three times I used the smallest weights just to get used to the movements and stuff and I would say it's definitely worth doing that even if you find it quite easy the first couple of times. Then try to increase till you are only just able to do the set. I upped my chest, back and shoulder weights yesterday and am sitting here ever so slightly sore today lol :p

I've just sat down to write the evening invitations but realised so many of my friends have moved house and I don't know all the addresses lol! So I think I will have to write the cards out and just put the names on the invitations then add the addresses later haha.

    xx

Well I am absolutely cream crackered!! Have been working non-stop since around 9 this morning!! Well that is a bit of an exaggeration - I did have a break to take Bun to the vets for a Mixy injection - and the vet had a check of his teeth while we were there; and I stopped for lunch; and then MrD came home so we went to get three more new koi - must stop spending! But other than those I've been working non-stop on school related things. Wish it was weddingy stuff!! Still not found a song!! Grrr

It's tough choosing the music and words for the ceremony isn't it, MrsD? Fiance and I chose our vows today, but we still need to decide on the readings and music in the next fortnight. We have the processional and one for signing the register. We still need some milling around before the processional music (well, OH thinks we don't) and a recessional. Plus I'm not sure if signing the register will take longer than one song....

Well, I didn't manage body pump today - it's on at 9am on a Sunday!! I did wake up at 8.33 (gym's 25 mins away), and rolled over for a snooze! I have done 3 sessions this week though (body balance, weights & treadmill and legs, bums & tums), and that's my current target - 3 a week.

I find when my friends call and say what have I been up to, I'm at a bit of a loss! Er, going to the gym, surfing the web for wedding favours and gifts, staring at wedding spreadsheets of budgets and table plans, trying to work out what readings to have, ridiculous thoughts about trying to drink enough water and remembering to use body scrub and moisturiser, now I've even resorted to buying multivitamin pills that my hair stylist reckoned would make my hair grow faster (like this!). All to try and look nice at the wedding/on honeymoon, and incredibly dull for anyone to hear about!:rotfl:I may be becoming a bridezilla....

Well I had a little mini strop earlier - lol I broke a nail!! I'm destined to not have nice nails for the wedding! :rotfl:

And you are right - it is a nightmare!! We have till the end of this month to finalise the ceremony plan, then it all needs sending off to the registrar. I can't see me doing any of it before next weekend (busy bee this week). Our 'signing the register' music is 7mins 39secs long so should be long enough :) (My entrance music is only 1min 47secs so I can leg it down to MrD! ha!)

I broke a nail too! (Taped over with tissue and nailvarnish til it grows back to the white.) What are our lives coming to, when these things are big disasters!:rotfl:

I have a great mental image you legging it down the aisle - handy to have a tea length dress for these things! My entrance music is 2:45, so enough time to walk over a little footbridge, and try and not sink in the mud walking around the garden!
