:j:jTracey great news about your dress. How is your rather cute son?

I now have a 3kg bag of love heart that i need to resist temptation of eating! How on earth will i do it?!!:rotfl:

Question - did peoples dress shop ring them when it was time for a fitting?

Oh in other news LO took a bottle yesterday so hopefully by the wedding she will confidently take from the bottle!

Firstly I bet that is going to be such a relief for you!! And my dress shop email me to say my dress was in the shop and booked me in for a 'try on'. (It was probably a fitting as well but as it fitted like a glove already it doesn't need any alterations - well other than the ribbon shortening, and some of the netting shortening).

Awww I really like that idea!! I think it's really sweet! :)

I actually really like the ring, and think it would be lovely and so personally to have your name in code on it.

:j at your little one taking a bottle.

Ok in my boredom Im looking into ceremony songs! I have found a nice instrumental version of one of ohs fave songs on you tube, but I dont know how I would then go about getting an instrumental version on disk.

My son is doing really well, is really talking and laughing now which is really cute.

Glad you Little One is taking a bottle, it does make things easier. I was quite lucky that as I had to use nipple shields when BF there is no issue with him taking a bottle and then going back to the breast. Still not worked out what I am going to do on the wedding day if still bf. Obv will give him expressed milk, but I will still need to express during the day. Think my OH will love me when we get back to the hotel room and I say 'I need to express now' :rotfl:

    Hi everyone!

Sorry I've not been on much, been busy busy busy!

I had my interview yesterday, got down to the last 3 in the interviews in the afternoon but was umming and ahhing all day then finally decided to withdraw at the last minute. It was a lovely school and a great opportunity but it just didn't feel right to me. I think that was why I left it till the last minute - my head was telling me it was such a brilliant job and I should be going for it, but my heart was telling me no, I don't really want to be here. So back on the hunt lol!

On a brighter note, when I went shopping for interview clothes I was able to buy the next size down to what I normally wear :D Have just got back from the gym as well and a lady that goes actually asked me if I'd lost weigh since I started there, it must be starting to show! Happy days :)

I've just been trying to have a bit of a sort out, written the cheque for the flower lady which I'll post to her tomorrow. Only need to pay the DJ and food off now and it's all done - and I've just had an email from Jet2 telling me it's 12 weeks till the honeymoon :eek::eek:

That ring is really unusual Mel, I actually quite like it! Much more interesting than a boring old engraving!

Glad you've managed to sort out your dress Tracy, you must be really chuffed that it's been able to be fixed nice and easily. The style will look good with a lace up back too :) Although you flipping pregnant/new mums do nothing to encourage me of the wonders of having children - widening ribcages and nipple shields lol! *sticks fingers in ears LALALALALALALA* ;)

I took my engagement ring in to be repaired too, they reckon they might have to actually replace it because apparently I managed to knock one of the claw settings off which is why the diamond fell out. I think I must have caught it inside one of the gauntlets when I was welding at school, they are quite heavy duty so I reckon the claw bit must have snagged. I will have to start taking it off for those lessons I think. Again, every cloud and all that - it will be rhodium plated for free instead of having to pay for that lol!

    xx

Glad you're getting your ring sorted Mel - lol @ gauntlets good job you said they were at school other wise we'd all be worried about your hobbies!!

And I know exactly what you mean about the feel of a school just not being right. Fingers crossed you find something more perfect soon. x (You did amazing to get down to the top three - so BIG well done!!)

Lol yes WELDING gauntlets, not any other kind lol!

Apparently they had had 42 applicants for the job  there's lots of competition out there! Interesting only one of the 6 who were shortlisted was an NQT - they sent 3 home after teaching the lesson and having a short interview in the morning, and all the ones left had 3 or more years experience. Which is good news for us more 'experienced' teacher who are a little bit more expensive! Not everyone wants a cheap NQT! (which I was quite worried about, being in my 6th year!)
