Wanchai yay for hen party weekend.

Have done a few things for the wedding. Booked in for my dress fitting. 12th may. Have booked to see the wedding planner on 1st june and booked my mke up for 23rd june. Please can someone remin ne haha!!

Ihave apoorly girl today :-( currently asleep on me! Got a bit off a cold so when she wakes up going to pop out quickly to get sonething

I've just paid the deposit for mine this morning so it's all sorted for June 2nd now. Can't wait!

We were supposed to have our engagement shoot this weekend but it got postponed because of the rain, so now it will be June 7th which seems like ages away.

Have also just ordered the invitations. Getting them printed by PDA after all after the recommendation. I figure it will be easier than me trying to concentrate on printing them all right with LO wanting to play with the printer. I'm excited for them to arrive, I hope they come for the weekend but I know I'm pushing it a bit!

I've also found someone to alter my dress. Going to meet with her on Saturday so she can tell me exactly how much and if it can be shortened. I don't have proper shoes or underwear yet so I hope she's not expecting me to!! I figure I need to know if she can take it up at all before I get shoes as I won't get super high ones if it can be taken up?

Having such a nightmare with shoes so gave up for a while. I loved the ones in next wanchai, but none of them fit which have you gone for? I need to try and get to M&S this weekend and try theirs, I like their shoes!

I've just spotted my engagement ring on etsy!! That was a bit weird!
(it's a photo of my ring to demonstrate what you can have made - not my actual ring for sale - that's on my finger!)

Is anyone else having more than 1 hen night? I spent the weekend on a joint hen with my best friend as we have the same circle of work friends but I am planning another nearer to my date for my other circle of non work friends and another best friend has asked if she can take me on a pre wedding spa day, rude to say no! Perhaps i am just greedy!!


Finally finished the evening invitations, all by the actual address labels and stamps. I have given them out at work today and I am very pleased for making myself sit down last night without distractions and getting them glued and finished. I made 38 last night and I need another 5 but I ran out of card! A light relief today to have ticked a big box.

H2B took our wedding plan to the Register office today but we have to have an appointment to even get through the door. No post box either so we have booked to go on 6th June to talk through our plans. It will be nice to see the venue again as we booked it and paid 9 months ago. It all seems to be coming together again.

Not a clue!!! I don't even know where it is! Just been told to be ready at X time! What are you doing for yours?

Boo to the postponed e-shoot, but it'll be so much nicer if it's not raining. Ours is going to be late May/early June, haven't fixed a date yet.

You won't be able to get the dress shortened without having your shoes, but as you say, just have a chat and see whether it's possible or not. So exciting!!!!

It's all a surprise, I like surprises so can't wait to see what we're doing!!

Wow @ your 3 hen dos! :T I might have an extra thing for me, mum, FMIL, my 3 FSILs and my BM, we shall see. And probably a lunch or drink with work peeps too.

Yes thank you - just got a few very hectic days in the pipeline. You really should allow us to know who you are so you can join the rest of us on FB - not necessarily to talk about wedding things - but just so you can read what we're on about when we're being so cryptic!!

It sounds like you've got loads organised SK!! I'm sure we can overlook the fact you've given up on your shoes - for now... lol if you were to read back this thread you'd see I also had a nightmare over shoes - namely that I wear slightly quirky ones normally so to go with a bridal pair was just not me... (I am going with some rainbow club bridal shoes - which reminds me I really must start wearing them around the house!

Yes but not strictly through my own choice. I'm now having a works one which I didn't want - and have had to organise myself. And I'm having my day of pampering with my CBMIIWHO the weekend before the wedding :T

What a nightmare Mel! I am just posting our ceremony plan with the fee, readings, and a CD towards the end of this month. Eeeek!! I really must get a final song sorted soon - the end of the month is going to be here before we know it!

Hey everyone

Well Im so shattered!! Ive been a good girl today and after work went to the gym, did a work out then my mum came over and met me and I went swimming!! I am so tired now!!

Wancahi- hope you have the most amazing hen do, cant wait to hear all about it when your back.

Im having 3 hen dos, a night out with my friends, which will also be the day before my birthday so double celebration, then Im having a night out with all my work friends, and then Im having a little weekend away with my 2 older sisters, mum and aunt! I was saying to oh the other day Im wondering if I should arrange a meal for like my nan, his mum, my mum and little sister- Ill have to have a little think about this!!

I will have a proper read through later and will comment more then, but im so tired Im just scanning at the mo!!
