Just logged in to have a little strop!

We're now at 15 nos and 40 yeses - 1 person told my fiance's mum, rather than tell us directly. Really? They couldn't be arsed to pick up the phone, email or even text us? Humph! <stomping of boots>

Feel like the place may be looking pretty empty!

Tracey - really hope that the dress can be sorted, DMs can work wonders!! Let us know how it goes xx

BabyBoots - sorry about your RSVPs, hope you get some more yeses. Shame that people don't tell you themselves. Hugs to you. And you can strop anytime you want xxx

Natalie - aw, Bun is just gorgeous!!!! :):) and I love that your RSVP date is exactly 2 months before your wedding! :D

Well, what a productive wedding planning day I've had!! I had coffee with my florist, all excited again! We're really buzzing with ideas and I have every confidence in him.

I've almost finished my DIY gift for my BM, just need to buy her a few little bits and a thank you card and that's sorted. :)

I've made some progress on my OOS wording. It's such slooow going!!!

OH and I looked at the menus, we've now picked our meals and worked out costs. We're going to haggle to try and save a few hundred quid at our next meeting with the venue, wish us luck :o

  • Back from Center Parcs - i have read back and you have all got lots done this last week.

So it rained the whole time but as alot of it is indoors, we had an absolute ball. I highly recommend it and will definetly return. It can be expensive if you have young children to entertain as the kids activites were expensive imo. (eg - facepainting £6 each= 5mins entertainment!). the free swimming, relax areas and woodland walks were fab. I have actually pulled a stomach muscle from laughing so much on the rapids. One of the girls got wedged - you had to be there to believe how funny this was.

So its back to work today and trying to stay awake as i am soooo tired. I going to try and tackle my list of wedding things to do this week as i feel so behind having read how much you guys have achieved.

What's left on your to-do list Mel? Mine's still massive!!!! :rotfl: Glad that you had a fab time at CP.

Just went to the jeweller with OH to get his ring finger sized. So now we're going to get him a 4mm silver band on eBay for about a fiver! He's only wearing it for the wedding day so we're aiming super cheap :D

  • Oooh my 'To Do' list is still long but top of the list is finish the evening invites and get them posted. I would like have it done by this weekend.

I am going to meet one of my oldest (in time) friends on Saturday. We have not met up for 12 years! We were army wife neighbours and had both our babies together but she has been in Germany for the last 10 years and is in London now. I want her to meet H2B before the wedding day as they are day guests. Can't wait.

I am hoping to find time this weekend to take H2B to Lincoln to order/buy his wedding ring as he has chosen one that has the wedding date wrapped around it in roman numerals . . . . no excuse for ever forgetting our anniversary.

Well its rsvp deadline today and Im still waiting for a few!! We havent had them from our mums but know they will absolutely definately be there, but never of us have had them from our Dads (both our parents seperated), and Im not that sure my Dad will actually come, but I do wish he would just say!! I also havent heard from one of my closest friends, I text her today but she hasnt replied! I so wish I could be like oh who has said if people dont rsvp we will take it they arent coming!! So thats my little bridezilla rant!! The 3 people we 'upgraded' have accepted, im going to make them invites, I wont be seeing them for at least 2 weeks so I have plenty of time.

Babyboots- I dont blame you for being stroppy. It isnt difficult to rsvp is it so why dont people do it asap and directly to you!

On good news :j:T:j the ceremony is all paid and my passport form is signed!!

Mel- glad you loved CP. I went about 18 months ago for a hen weekend and it was so good, Im glad you had a lovely time.

Tracey- fingers crossed for Tues, let us know how it goes.

How is Bun doing MrsD? He is such a cutie.

Wanchai - what's the struggle with your OOS wording? You seem to have been working on it for a while - anything we can help with? Good luck haggling on the food & drink. It sounds like you've got a very MSE ring for your fiance!

Future Cooper - glad you enjoyed it at CP - it sounded great fun.

I share your frustration and then some PinkPrincess - we're now at 18 nos, 40 yeses and 15 that couldn't be arsed to reply on time! I can't face ringing round the remaining 15 - think I'll start on Wednesday. I'm disappointed so many people can't make it. :( I'm just trying to banish the thoughts of an empty reception room (it seats 100!) and focus on how it will be a lovely day anyway, I get to marry my lovely fiance (a year ago today we got engaged:beer: ) and we'll have a fab honeymoon.

 happy one year engaged anniversary Baby boots.

Ive decided exactly the same, me and oh will get married whatever and have the most amazing day and if people cant make it then they are the ones missing out.

I feel a bit better though that one friend that is invited to the evening text to rsvp to say sorry she hadnt posted her reply by today but she would be there and is really looking forward to it. I only posted her invite last week aswell cos I kept forgetting to text to ask for her address!!
