Hope the interview prep goes well Silaqui
That's exciting having your seats booked PinkPrincess. :jIs anyone going to try and cheek an upgrade on their honeymoon flight? If so, any tips?
Yes, the lovehearts were the ones mentioned on this forum - £6.38 from Amazon. The date on mine is Sep 2013, so our guests can save themforour first anniversary if they want to!
Good luck for your dress fitting Tracey.
That's good yourRSVPs are coming in pbny. :T I'm fed up waiting for people to reply, and will have to start ringing round next week to chase responses.
Oh its good to know they have a long date on them, I got them and suddenly thought I hope they werent cheap because they are nearly out of date!! Hopefully they wont take long to come.
Im glad Im not the only one getting bored of waiting for rsvps! I need to chase a few more, its more evening guests that havent replied than daytime, daytime Im only waiting for a few more, I did put the deadline as 30th April, so ill chase next week I think.0 -
Ooh we put 30 April too - the date we got engaged (not that anyone will notice that!) We have loads that haven't responded... there's lots of things you can't plan without numbers!0
-
I know, its so annoying, Ive been trying to work out the budget etc but cant fully get an idea of how much the food will cost until I have numbers! Argh, why cant people just rsvp!!0
-
:rotfl: pbny!!! That's like me, I'm a procrastinator! Did you find a swimsuit then?

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Just wrote a REALLY long reply and then when I clicked submit it asked me to log in again and then it was gone!!
!!!!!!
Short version
a) Bun was poorly but seems to have turned the corner.
b) Operation 'sort the house out' has started - a wedding venue would probably be cheaper than how much we have to do.
c) I've been lumped with organising a works hen do despite not wanting one in the first place!
d) Weightloss is going well but am not on a 'diet' am on a 'no takeaway' rule. Eating what we fancy including bangers and mash, and lasagne for teas. Should be back to healthy, yet curvy, BMI for the wedding.
Sorry I haven't replied to you all individually.

Oh Natalie, shame! I hate it when that happens! Big hugs. And LOL at operation 'sort the house out'! :rotfl: Glad to hear that you are taking a sensible, balanced approach to weight loss missy.
Well, I'm up and at it early. Today's tasks:
1. Continue sorting out a thank you gift for my BM for organising my hen do, including a little handmade piece(I like crafting but don't get the chance to do it ATM with all the wedding planning)
2. Meet my florist for coffee and chats
3. Try to do some more work on the OOS
4. Sit down with OH and go through the reception menus, choose what we'd like and decide what to haggle on! Hoping to get free tea, coffee and mints at the very least, that alone would save us £200!!7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs

Sounds like a nice busy wedding day Wanchai!!
Well I have just sorted out our dive insurance for our honeymoon. Although our normal holiday insurance covers us for 'scuba' it won't include any hyperbaric treatment should we require it, where as the proper dive insurance would do. :T
My plans for the rest of the day. Continue to fuss over Bun. He's eaten so much this morning - but I won't rest till he poos it all out again lol. (TMI? lol). I want to get the cracks in the lounge walls polyfillered. and then I have LOADS of clothes washing to do. *sigh* A woman's work and all that!
Tomorrow is pay day - hurrah - so I can put our spending money onto our cash passport. Really can't decide how much to put on. While we're staying in all inclusive we will probably want to eat out a couple of times. We'll need to pay the odd bit towards our diving - like if we go on a special diving safari, and pay for lunches on the boat. And of course I will want to buy us a souvenir of some description (and something for MrD's parents for looking after Bun while we're away). Can't even think how much money we'd usually take!!0 -
Yay Natalie! You're so far ahead of the rest of us
